This was clearly celebrating part of West Ham’s dna but using it to obviously sell some stuff. No one has an issue with that. Supporters support the club, its history, its culture and the team. I hate corporate aspects of the club but recognise much of it is there to compete at the highest level. However, superimposing cultural, political or social identities onto the club are going to cause plenty of division amongst supporters who are otherwise united ( innit). This seems pointless. The club can point anyone in the direction of organisations that may well be useful to those requiring further knowledge ir help but has no place fusing it in with tradition and established core club properties. Stuff that is worth while is paying all staff a fair wage. Employing locals. Keeping food and drink and clothing traditions alive.
