Woke watch

Post arsene york-hunt »

"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

"Agree those who look down their noses at anyone bringing some of this woke and Trans shit to light need to take a look around. In California for example they tried to bring in a law that misgendering someone was a hate crime so potentially carried a prison sentence, it got knocked back on appeal to the supreme court on 1st amendment grounds but maybe only matter of time before generation victim and offended by everything has more sway? In the UK the woke and those offended on behalf of others point to the spike in reported hate crimes, yet all that is the scope of what’s considered hate has been expanded so much and then all these attention seekers are calling the Police to report all kinds of ridiculous things that have offended them and the police have to if nothing else report it! Sad thing is maybe real hate crime either doesn't get taken seriously or the police are bogged down with reports of inappropriate wording on a t-shirt on some bloke at the supermarket."

"Log burner rule change in England could land users with £300 fines Published 2 hours ago Share Related Topics Climate change Woman reading in front of stove IMAGE SOURCE,GETTY IMAGES By Alex Binley BBC News Households in England face fines of up to £300 and even criminal records if they flout new log burner rules. A tightening of emissions regulations has reduced the amount of smoke new stoves can emit per hour from 5g to 3g. It applies to homes in ""smoke control areas"" which cover most of England's towns and cities. Anyone found to be breaking the new measures could be issued with an on-the-spot fine. The rules are part of the government's new 25-year environmental plan. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the new measures were part of his government's drive to leave ""the environment in a better state than we found it"". In recent years, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has cracked down on log burners and coal fires as, according to the government, they are the largest source of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) - small particles of air pollution which find their way into the body's lungs and blood. Around 1.5m homes use wood for fuel across the UK, however burning wood and coal in open fires and stoves makes up 38% of the UK's emissions of PM2.5. By comparison, 16% come from industrial combustion, 12% from road transport and 13% from the use of solvents and industrial processes. This means a wood-burning stove emits more particles per hour than a diesel lorry. As well as reducing the amount of PM2.5 wood burners are allowed to emit, Defra said it will enable local authorities to ""better enforce"" smoke control areas. They will be allowed to issue fines of up to £300 on household whose chimneys are emitting too much smoke, and even pursuing a criminal case if they do not comply. Under the 25-year plan, the government said it was tightening the rules rather than implementing a complete ban on burning fuels as some households use them to provide heating and for cooking. But avoiding a ban are barbeques, fire pits or bonfires, as doing so would be ""disproportionate"", the government said. What does air pollution do to our bodies? 'Everyone is in one room, like the olden days' In a bid to try and cut particulate matter, last year the government banned the purchase of house coal and wet wood in England, two of the most polluting fuels, and urged the public to move to move to ""cleaner alternatives"". As is already the case, householders can be fined up to £1,000 if they are found to be burning unauthorised fuels. A list of authorised fuels in each of the four nations of the UK can be found on the government's website. Client Earth, an NGO which has won pollution cases against the government, hit out at the 25-year plan, writing on Twitter that it was full of ""vague commitments"" and that environmental laws which are already in place are at risk due to Brexit."

"Have a look at Males of Reddit on TWATTER for an insight into trans lunacy as well. There are some deeply, deeply disturbed young men out there. A lot of these “trans women” seem to be young lads, perhaps of the incel description. Who seem to like dressing up as girls then going onto lesbian dating sites and demanding that the lesbians sleep with them. “Girl cock” Then moaning all over Reddit when the lezzers fuck them off out of it. Some seriously lonely and damaged people. It would be quite sad if I didn’t harbour an idea that a lot of them are absolute dangers to children as well."

"BBC journalists “lack understanding of basic economics”, according to an independent review of the corporation’s economics coverage. Impartiality is at risk because some journalists at the corporation make assumptions and have gaps in their knowledge, the review found. The thematic review into the broadcaster’s coverage of taxation, public expenditure, government borrowing and government debt was commissioned by the BBC board. Its authors, economics experts Michael Blastland and Sir Andrew Dilnot, were tasked with assessing whether due impartiality was being achieved in these areas. They said: “We think too many journalists lack understanding of basic economics or lack confidence in reporting it. This brings a high risk of impartiality. “In the period of this review, it particularly affected debt. Some journalists seem to feel instinctively that debt is simply bad, full stop, and don’t appear to realise this can be contested and contestable. “Several general assumptions seem to lurk like this, either unnoticed or uncorrected. Others that outsiders observed in BBC coverage were ‘more public spending is good’ and ‘tax cuts are good’. I blame THATCHER for this the stupid WOKE cow."
