Arsene For sure there is an element of the left that it up to its arse in cancel culture. Myself and plenty of others on the left would join you in criticising such an attitude. But I remain of the view that the concept of 'woke' has been highjacked and magnified for the political gain of the populist right to create and foment the typical 'us and them' narrative so favoured by those of that persuasion. Absolutely spot on Rio’s. When feninists decided that gender was a social construct they created this situation. If gender is a social construct then logically there is no reason why a person should not be able to choose their gender. And here we are today.
