Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

"The books targeted for burning were those viewed as being subversive or as representing ideologies opposed to Nazism. These included books written by Jewish, half-Jewish, communist, socialist, anarchist, liberal, pacifist, and sexologist authors among others. The initial books burned were those of Karl Marx and Karl Kautsky, but came to include very many authors, including Albert Einstein, Helen Keller, writers in French and English, and effectively any book incompatible with Nazi ideology. Ie they impose their will, indoctrinated people and opposed any other view but theirs. Exactly whats happening now"

"Perhaps the oddest change is the BFG's cloak is no longer black, and someone doesn't go as white as a sheet any more. Those are literally just descriptions of an item of clothing and an accurate representation of the physical embodiment of fear."

Re: Woke watch
"""I've noticed it in films, but this is on par with censorship by the nazis burning books they didn't approve of."" You often hear this being said by those who simply repeat things mindlessly without thinking, only what's never mentioned is which books were burnt. Here's a clue, the communists who are currently rewriting all the present day classics, laws, societal norms, history and our current dictionaries right now, were the guys who the Germans were fighting against and it was essentially the communists who won the war. Britons, for but one example benefitted not a fucking thing whatsoever from that destruction, only a century of rapid decline. The books that were burnt by the Germans were Communist propaganda, literature promoting child paedophilia, pornography and anti-Christian texts, all the staple fare of the school curricular system today. Hooray, well worth dying in slow agony in some Italian ditch in the deep of winter. Essentially it's what 'we' fought 2 world wars for, only it wasn't quite clearly stated as such at the time by our masters, according to those ex-WWII veterans I used to speak with, but was quickly realised how they'd been lied to by the end of the war, well that's not totally fair, the German government did tell their people precisely that it was the communist overthrow of the West that they were fighting against, but the allies insisted at the time, that it was all lies... I wonder what kind of upgraded Hitler we'll be getting in the coming years to stem this tide that's drowning the West in its own effluence. Just jarring seeing threads like these filled with drones who cheer on the communist overthrow of the West yet complain about the very symptoms of the blight upon us."

"Talking of books ,years ago my sister gave me a load of books for my kids , when they were done l put them away in a box, l recently got this box out to get rid , one of the books was interesting,it was one of the “Danger Stranger “books what children are taught about unscrupulous types and who is the author? , none other than our old mate Jimmy Saville, with his boat right across the front page , this is one book that should be burnt but l won’t , hopefully when all this woke shit is over and they are asking who did what ,they can put it up to the BBC as more evidence of the lunacy !"

"This one's really made me angry. Normally this woke shit is irritating, but desecrating someone's work is beyond. I've noticed it in films, but this is on par with censorship by the nazis burning books they didn't approve of."

"Go down your local charity shop and grab all the kids books you can - if not for the sake of your kids, for the sake of theirs. Make sure that they know that, under no circumstances are those copies of the books ever to leave the house - whoever pleads - and make sure the trouble understands that, too, even if ""all"" she wanted was a bit of peace & quiet."

Re: Woke watch
"Augustus Gloop is no longer fat, Mrs Twit is no longer fearfully ugly, and the Oompa-Loompas have gone gender-neutral in new editions of Roald Dahl’s beloved stories. The publisher, Puffin, has made hundreds of changes to the original text, removing many of Dahl’s colourful descriptions and making his characters less grotesque. The review of Dahl’s language was undertaken to ensure that the books “can continue to be enjoyed by all today”, Puffin said. References to physical appearance have been heavily edited. The word “fat” has been removed from every book - Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory may still look like a ball of dough, but can now only be described as “enormous”. In the same story, the Oompa-Loompas are no longer “tiny”, “titchy” or “no higher than my knee” but merely small. And where once they were “small men”, they are now “small people”. Passages not written by Dahl have also been added. In The Witches, a paragraph explaining that witches are bald beneath their wigs ends with the new line: “There are plenty of other reasons why women might wear wigs and there is certainly nothing wrong with that.”"
