Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

Hermit An over-reaction for sure but the car was clearly trying to damage the markings. Probably says as much about repressed cracker homosexuality as it does about woke.
Re: Woke watch
I can't stand the cսnt. I avoid match of the day in no small part because of the smug big eared arrogant woke cսnt Heard on the grapevine he's got one or two super injuctions keeping his image clean. But obviously there's NO truth to those horrible rumours.

"Here’s a good one. The title of this news story is, ‘a community hit by hate!. The story? A big pride flag was painted on the road surface in the gay capital of Florida, Fort Lauderdale and a driver drove his massive Ford truck over it leaving tyre marks on the flag….which was painted on the surface of a road….that cars with tyres drive on. https://twitter.com/EndWokeness/status/1633506993578098688"

Re: Woke watch
"We can have uncontrolled immigration provided that that those who really want that to be the case sponsor and put up a 100,000 pound personal bond for each immigrant they so sponsor. No ""We"", just them - and them alone covering the cost. The bond can be repaid from the taxes said immigrant subsequently pays into the exchequer - and forfeited in the event that immigrant turns to crime (whether subsequently deported or not). Sponsors are only allowed to be proven 3rd generation residents of the UK. The government can keep the existing legal channels open and waive all fees for those who use such entry points."

"A nice analogy Surf but a wrong one. Gray reported on May 25. Though clearly damaged, Johnson rode the fallout of that report - assisted by his chums in Fleet Street who, like the Mail, concluded 'Is that It? Johnson resigned on July 7 - six weeks or so after and ta a result of the Chris Pincher affair - a whole new scandal , albeit it one that confirmed his status as a habitually lying cսnt. If I may say so, you appear to be well prone to buying into this ERG-led revisionist rubbish."

"Hermit Bang on the money It's interesting that the majority of these bleeding heart liberals work in the public sector or for specialist 'charities' However, managed immigration is essential, particularly with the demographic profile - my irritation is that we should be combining taking who we need, from where we choose in concert with having a viable programme of supporting genuine asylum seekers from where ever We have descended into being a sponge for various economic migrants who at best offer nothing but an infrastructure drain and at worse, are criminally and culturally disruptive - this must stop"

Patterson and the other bloke were just the 'waffer thin mints' that caused Mr Creosote to explode.

"zeb The last minister I can recall that genuinely resigned on a point of principal was Robin Cook. Ministers tend to resign because they are jumping before they are pushed, or as in the Johnson's government's case, because they fear the wrath of the public will cost them their jobs in the long run. It was Partygate that resonated with the public. I doubt if any potential Toty voter gave much of a fuck about Patterson or Pincher - certainly not the Pincher thing - a bloke nobody had ever heard of."
Re: Woke watch
Surf At the time the Sue Gray report was a bit of a damp squib largely because she stopped short of investigating anything once the Met got involved. It was number 10's handling of the Patterson and Pincher affairs that brought the government down because Johnson could no longer put together an administration due to all the ministerial resignations.

Surf You can dance on pinheads as much as you like. You were wrong to say that she brought down the PM. It's plain for all to see. And of course I would most likely be crying suspected foul if the boot was on the other foot. That's what opposition does: its constitutional role.

Re: Woke watch
"The immigration debate is fundamentally a split between those who think there should be limits and those who think there shouldn’t be any limits at all. The ones who think there shouldn’t be any limits at all go out of their way to avoid saying that but by their words and actions show that it is what they want. They will say that of course there should be limits (but always refuse to specify what they are) They will say that certain types of criminals should be deported (but then when it comes to the specific individuals they’ll campaign for them to remain) They will label anyone who wants specific limits as ‘far-right’, ‘nazi’, ‘fascist’, ‘racist’, in the knowledge that it makes people less likely to speak out about wanting constraints. They use the courts as a tool not for justice, but to thwart justice in the knowledge that their teams of lawyers are incredibly well funded and the judges are people who share their worldview. And many more tactics besides."

Re: Woke watch
"I see you have chosen to ignore 'alleged' and 'might'. Her committee wasn't the final straw, but it certainly contributed in a big way to the downfall of the PM. And thus the government. It was very close to bringing it down by itself. There is clear circumstantial evidence (not proof) that she was an agent of the opposition as shown by Starmer's repeated refusal to state when he offered her a job. Presumably he was dumb enough to offer the job in an email that he fears might surface. She may, in fact, be legally innocent of all charges, but that isn't the point under discussion. JRM and other Tories have every right to believe she wasn't independent and to say what they have. As I said before, if she was Tory and the PM was Labour leader, you'd be screaming foul. But, as always, it's one rule for the left and another rule for the right. And that's OK, because in your mind, you're all so damned nice and not one of those dreadful, thick, racist/xenophobic working class oiks who are the targets of 'populism' (i.e. everyone who doesn't vote your way)."
