Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."
Re: Woke watch
"My opinion on what I see of the BBC is that they are very much on the left. The whole anti boris hysteria and constant slagging of the tories for one, but also their embracing of victim culture and identity politics/Wokeism which I consider to be leftist. The content speaks for itself regardless of the political affiliations of senior employees. It’s an issue because we are forced by law to pay for it and therefore it should be unbiased but I don’t really care as I don’t pay the license fee and rarely watch it. (However when I do have it in when visiting my parents the narrative always seems to be immigration = 100% good)"

Re: Woke watch
"The vast majority of the entertainment shows on the BBC are left leaning. Even if the news is supposedly impartial. The comedians they get to the topical shows are all staunch left. As I also said I couldn't give a fuck which way it leans. I couldn't give a fuck of they presented shows from Jeremy corbyn's front room. I'm not forced to watch it. I begrudge paying for it whether I watch it or not. And that is my ONLY issue with the BBC aside from fucking awful content it shows. Michael.mckentyrs ""the wheel"", Mrs browns boys, doctors, strictly come dancing etc"

"Mad Dog 11:19 Wed Mar 8 You said “the BBC is so skewed to the left”, I disagree, it’s run by a Tory donor, he wouldn’t allow it."
Re: Woke watch
Did you actually read my words. I said he and anyone else can say what they want. He IS ENTITLED TO SAY WHAT HE WANTS What he says usually makes me think he's a cսnt. My view of him and his right to say it are 2 separate things.

"MD, so it's OK for the chairman of the BBC to give £400,000 to the Conservative Party by not for Gary Lineker to have an opinion?"

"As Piers Morgan pointed out, if he supported the racist actions of the government you’d all want a statue of him erected in Trafalgar Square…."
Re: Woke watch
"I never said I didn't think he was entitled to this or any other of his opinions. As far as I believe, he or anyone else can say what they like. I truly believe that all speech is free or none of it is. As a result of what he has said or done (including atories ive heard about him) over the years I've formed the opinion that he's a cսnt. People working in the news aspect of BBC are supposed to remain impartial. This does not stem to amy of the ""entertainment"" shows which is why the BBC is so skewed to the left. Its this which gives mixed messages to people regarding the supposed impartiality if the channel. Again, I'm not saying this shouldn't be allowed. I couldn't give a fuck if they're impartial or not. It does mean I'll simply watch other stuff if I don't like it. And there's not much on BBC I like these days. MoTD is crap, has been for years and so biased to big clubs I can't bare to watch it. Smug jug ears is only one part. On occasions I have watched it, we've been on and the analysis hasn't even mentioned us. I don't however think it's right to be forced to pay for it if I want to watch live TV on any other channels."

Re: Woke watch
It wouldn’t surprise me if Lineker was a narcissist. His brazen hypocrisy and ability to manipulate the media to enhance his image are the indicators.

Re: Woke watch
Ray. What 'faux outrage' is that? People are just expressing their dislike of a man. You are so filled with anti Tory hate that you salivate over anyone who expresses left leaning views All rather sad really.

Re: Woke watch
Joey Barton once threatened to expose Lineker but if anyone does I wouldn't be totally surprised if it wasn't his own flesh and blood

"Yeah, I think he's great, old Gary. I can overlook his cսnt brother doing bird for tax evasion. I can overlook Gary's bid to have his earnings taxed at a lower rate I can overlook Gary taking money for his involvement in Qatar. He's got principles, Gary. Just none relating to his own or his family's wealth."
