Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

Re: Woke watch
"Manners - I don't know that I've seen anyone get riled by his viewpoints. He's entitled to his opinion. I don't really like the fact he owes the taxman 5 million quid. You can't sit up on your high horse criticising government policy- or anyone frankly - when you're refusing to pay your fair share, and you're spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on the most expensive specialist tax lawyers to likely get you off paying it. Think of what that money - even his legal fees - could do to help these poor unfortunate people he cares so much about. There's an innate contradiction, hypocrisy and arrogance there that is pretty hard to like. The other key point is that he's in breach of contract. Anyone who works there signs an agreement that says they won't do this sort of thing. So technically he's got off lightly and should probably have been sacked. You or I would be for a material breach of our employment contract. Of course, the fact that in his defence at the appeal into his tax case , his primary argument is that its actually the BBC that owes the taxman, and not him. That HMRC should be going after them and not him. That has nothing to do with what's happening here. Nothing at all."

"I'm loving this. A virtual signaller taken down by a tweet of his, and all his followers/idiots are crying about it. Can't wait for MotD tonight. It'll be the first time I've watched it in ages."

"riosleftsock 1:01 Sat Mar 11 Yeah, I've been watching that. Of no importance whatsoever unless they can be tied some way to sponsoring the boats used by the illegal immigrants to get over here. THEN the world's ""truly compassonate"" people will start to take notice."

"For me it’s gone beyond the point of no return regarding your point, the cancelling has gone to far and a fight back is needed before it’s too late so if you can’t beat them join them. And the hypocrisy for me is if it was a footballer who was right leaning they would have been cancelled for comparing labour to the nazi’s whereas i guarantee lineker will be back in a high paid job and MOTD will die out because all the hypocrites are “showing solidarity” and siding with this virtue signalling idiot."

"The thing that amazes me and i find so hypocritical is a lot of the people calling him out for this and getting on their high horse are the very same people who constantly criticize the woke and cancel culture brigade! Let him spout his bollocks (as anyone should be allowed to do), most will see him for what he is a virtual signaling twat. Hope he has learned a thing or 2 as well, stick to presenting MOTD and football Gary, no one really gives a fuck about your woke opinions despite the current outrage. Storm in a tea cup!"

Re: Woke watch
"Going against the grain (or at least on here) I've never had a problem with Lineker, he's a good presenter and has a good sense of humour. Yes, he is a bit smug and acts a tit at times, but that's hardly enough reason to hate the cսnt, after all we can't all be perfect. I don't take any notice of his wokey ways or political views, not my business and at the end of the day he's just an ex-footballer (goal hanger) albeit he was one of the very best at it, so don't know why some get so riled up by his personal viewpoints. If you want to talk about true cunts, look no further than that complete fucking helmet on the other side, Mark whathisface, fuck me he must be the biggest bell on TV, fuck knows how he got that gig, I can't abide the cսnt."

"Oh, I forgot Le Tissier's refusal to wear BLM insignia that football dropped completely not long after it became clear what an exploitation of race relations it was, with zero benefits to the race it claimed to support, beyond the black marxists that profitted vastly."

"Yeah, Le Tissier is a weido for challenging covid lockdowns and vaccinations that have affected millions globally, but Linekar is a hero for speaking out against anti-human trafficking bills in the UK."

Re: Woke watch
Lineker is a massive cսnt! Whatever happened to free speech to make his cuntish nature more obvious? Even cunts have rights and what he said is fine by me because you now know there are millions of you too stupid to want to restrict illegal immigration.

Re: Woke watch
"Lest we forget. He didn't just criticise government immigration policy, did he? That would have breached BBC guidelines but he'd have got away with it. Again. He compared government policy with that of 'Germany in the 1930's'. So, in effect, he called the government a bunch of Nazis. That's more than a debatable or minor breach of the impartiality guidelines. Lineker has got away with so much in the past he thinks he is Teflon."

"Jaan Kenbrovin 1:11 Sat Mar 11 Re: Woke watch My point is, the BBC, under pressure, are looking for compliance not impartiality. I think. If linekar tweeted a like, on the news of the new government policy on asylum seekers, the BBC would not be requesting him to step down this week."

Re: Woke watch
'BBC Sport understands a number of players from various clubs have contacted the Professional Footballers Association to say they may want to show solidarity with Lineker and Match of the Day pundits over the impartiality row' LOL. What a farce football has become.
