Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."
Re: Woke watch
All women am under 50 are feminists now and ironically it was feminists that started all this bullshit about ten years ago when they decided that the any difference between men and women are socially constructed. Logically therefore one can socially construct themselves as a woman .

"Surf. It's an interesting distinction to highlight feminists rather than woman. You are right all women, not just militant ones should be offended. From my occasional dealings with the Mail, I doubt its the woke influence at play here. At best it will be thoughtless journalism, at worst it will be an attempt to pit one group against another for the titillation of the main readership target - middle class women who would see themselves (naturally from behind a net curtain) as neither woke nor feminists. Lest we forget, the Mail keeps its readership happy by serving up notions that their conservative and cosseted way of life is under threat. If that's because the wokies and the lesbians are having a turf war then happy days"

Re: Woke watch
"This stuff is insidious. Notice the precise language in the Mail's link. Now the Mail isn't the wokest of newspapers, but their link says it's 'feminists' that are angry. No mention of the vast majority of women who aren't feminists and are no doubt equally appalled. Because 'feminists' can easily be ignored as a bunch of hairy-armpitted semi-loons, whereas 'women' is a whole different, and more serious, kettle of fish. So even a newspaper that probably prides itself on being anti-woke is being unconsciously manipulated by its more woke staff. And so it goes."

"I don't know what's worse, employing him because of his trans profile or because of his profile on an idiotic social media platform. In either case it's giving unwelcome oxygen to an over-hyped nobody. As Surf says, it will be interesting to see how this move affects sales. Woke versus Mammon."

"Mike Oxsaw 7:59 Wed Apr 5 I' suspect that most who already drink Budweiser will find a reason/excuse/justification to keep drinking Budweiser.' So true. For example, substitute 'like Michael Jackson' for 'drink Bud' and you'll see how it works. Also, n.b. Newcastle/ Man City fans."

Re: Woke watch
hopefully. it's just so offensive to women that this clown is mocking them and making huge sums of money off the back of it. if a male celeb said the same stuff he'd be 'cancelled' immediately.

"I suspect that most who already drink Budweiser will find a reason/excuse/justification to keep drinking Budweiser. I doubt that many have the intelligence to actually work out (or even care) what's happening. Those that are tempted to change brands will soon be brought back into line by a few ""special offers"" at the supermarkets."

"I just read that "" big daddy "" story, it's hilarious. She claims not to be a "" Karen "" She described herself as being in such a rage about it that she reinstated her facebook page just so she could contact Sainsburys. She also goes on about "" big daddy "" being a sexual term, I never knew that so she clearly loves a bit of cock. What a stupid thing to cry about."

"Sydney_Iron 10:14 Tue Apr 4 You have to be ""educated"" to find things like things like that offensive. I remember years ago feminists complaining that bra adverts on the underground were offensive to women, but somebody did a survey and 97% of women did not find them offensive ( according to Keith Waterhouse in a Mirror column) ."

Re: Woke watch
Was the steak named after the wrestler Big Daddy ? Real name Shirley Crabtree. That shopper in Norfolk probably gets offended every time she sets foot out of the door or turns on the TV or goes online.

"Attention seeking cսnt, deserves a slap IMO A horrified shopper has branded Sainsbury's 'big daddy' steak sexist and 'wildly inappropriate' and demanded they rename it. Rose Robinson, from Norwich, nipped into Sainsbury's in North Walsham two weeks ago to grab a few bits when she spotted their 'Big Daddy beef rump steak' on the shelves. The 38-year-old claims she was stopped in her tracks by the meats' 'sexist and misogynistic' name and felt completely 'bewildered' as to the supermarket's thought process behind it. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11938101/A-horrified-shopper-brands-Sainsburys-big-daddy-steak-sexist-wildly-inappropriate.html"
