Mad Dog 2:26 Very peculiar. I do agree it's important to let young primary school kids indulge their imagination etc but there is a point where it's just disruptive for everyone. The child does need at some point to be told they are in fact a human being. Not doing so is like sending your kid to secondary school still thinking santa is real. Just woefuly ill prepared to deal with life.

I know a lovely lady who when we were kids she was very much a Tomboy. Couldn't be more of a lady now. What if she had gone down the route of becoming a boy when with her certainly it was just a childhood phase.

Fact is, it is worth helping children explore their personality as they grow up, especially when it comes to building self and mutual respect. Of course, that is if what you want is open-minded, secure and resilient adults in the future who can accept diversity and their own strangeness.
