Democrat politicians try to ignore the law. I support Biden wiping out student debt but the law he's using to do so is clearly not designed to achieve this purpose. He needs to legislate. And I'm pro choice in abortion but the Democrats always relied on a legal judgement to guarantee those rights. They could have legislated to explicitly create the right in law but never did. They're idiots. Same with the Tories and the Rwanda policy. They could legislate to give themselves more specific powers but instead they plough on with a policy that's unlawful. And Trump breaking law after law personally. They all just want to grandstand for their bases. Imagine Biden and Trump being your only two choices. It makes Sunak and Starmer look like intellectual titans.

Biden's team were trying to use the Heroes Act (passed to help victims and emergency workers effected by 9/11) to forgive student debt.
