Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

"When you pick apart what Aluko is saying, it makes zero sense. Simon Jordan tried to but she batted it away with “well it’s different in women’s football” and this “it’s communication not manipulation” mantra. Glib, and doesn’t really mean anything. Just think about it. Why would Pep do Arsenal - last season’s closest challengers to his side - any favours. Would Man City sanction that bid under those circumstances? Of course not. It makes absolutely no sense at all. To question this logic is boringly, and predictably, branded as racist and misogynistic. What a glorious time to be alive."

Re: Woke watch
The Arsenal board could say they were the only real bidder in the room so West Ham would have compromised and accepted £90m odd. So if this is true then they could sue Pep for the extra £15m. And Man City could sack Pep for fraudulently putting their capital at risk with a fake bid. What SHOULD happen is that Pep should sue her for libel and BESMIRCHING his reputation in the world of football. As should Arteta because she is saying he embezzled an additional £15m out of the Arsenal board. See you in court

Re: Woke watch
"So basically according to her experience of things like this, albeit at a presumably lower level, would be that normal practice would see the winners of the league placing false bids, in order to save the club that finished second money? Yeah, surely everyone including Paddy Kenny should see that now."
Re: Woke watch
Simon Jordan knocked her big time on Talksport for her comments about City just bumping the price up for Rice. Not sure how she was a footballer let alone a pundit. Watched parts of that Soccer Aid game and she just stands up front and when she gets the ball just runs into people. Mind you she did say Jimmy Greaves was her favourite footballer for the hat-trick he scored in a World Cup Final!

Re: Woke watch
I love the fact that Aluko sent loads of messages to Kenny without him.having directly contacting her. Her messages make her seem arrogant and totally lacking in self awareness

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12263195/Paddy-Kenny-leaks-furious-DMs-Eni-Aluko-criticised-Declan-Rice.html What’s funny is Aluko’s assumption that she gets hired based on the insight she provides.

"I would have thought that by far the most effective way of letting a business - ANY business - know that you disapprove of (some of) their practices is to take your custom elsewhere, rather than let a bunch of agenda driven drama queens get all shouty on your behalf. Their customer loyalty/churn management processes will pick up on it soon enough and report back to the shareholders. Likewise if your benefits or pension supplier acts in a manner or which you disapprove, find another."

Re: Woke watch
"The majority of High Street banks are members of diversity schemes run by the controversial charity Stonewall, The Telegraph can reveal. Lenders are facing questions over their links to the charity amid a backlash over closing the bank accounts of some people with gender-critical views. A vicar who questioned his building society’s Pride branding had his account closed, while a Scottish blogger believes action was taken by his bank over his stance on gender issues. Stonewall’s Diversity Champions scheme includes guidance to employers on gender-neutral spaces and the use of pronouns. The company also runs a top 100 index that measures employers on diversity and inclusion. HSBC, which allows customers to register as gender-neutral, is the top ranking bank in Stonewall’s annual Equality Index, and Natwest, which is still one-third owned by the Government, is linked to the charity. Barclays, which offers private medical cover for employees transitioning, and Nationwide, which encourages staff to use pronouns in email signatures, are also among Stonewall’s top 100 employers. Santander is a member of the index, while TSB is a member of the Diversity Champions Scheme. Lloyds Banking Group, which runs its own branches as well as Halifax and Bank of Scotland, was the only major lender to fail to respond to queries about the scheme, but was previously named as the country’s top employer by Stonewall."

I’m just laughing at the fact I’m supposed to be relieved that such a wet lettuce who deals in glib word soups has “left me alone”. WHAT A RELIEF.

"Why are people still cheerleading for Trump even now? In the UK. All a bit weird, considering he’s a fucking fist with a mental age of about 9. Actually don’t answer, I know. It’s tribal. Having said that, seriously, have people not realised you never EVER engage with H&P over anything on here, as the way he “answers” any direct question is worse than any of the worst politicians in the history of the entire world."
