Fo That is the reason that tthey are not held to the high standards of news channels. They are defined as an opinion lead entertainment channel which is why Ofcom give them far more leeway. Lee Anderson interviewing Suella Braverman might a stretch as they have got into trouble for that sort of thing before.

If you want a better example you might have gone for Martine Croxhalls reaction to.the resignation of Boris Johnson. She got into trouble for that because she did not come across as impartial and therefore did not act in a way that someone should when broadcasting news. If he said what he did on X or twitter or whatever its called now then that's his right and hardly unexpected from.him. Saying that in a programme on what claims to be a news channel.is not acceptable...it'll.go with the other 11 or 12 current live investigations into their standards no doubt.
