One of the things hadn't realised was that Isrsel pulled out of Gaza a fair while back and it was only an occupied territory because it was a strategic site they were being attacked from. When they pulled out though there was outright civil war on the streets between the Palestinian Authority and HAMAS, who continued firing rockets into.israel and do not want peace.
