We are paying Rwanda £1.8 million per asylum seeker. £1.8 million. It's insanity to spend £1.8 million per asylum seeker to send 1% of those arriving on boats each year out there. It's just a gimmick and won't deter anyone from coming. In relation to the point on the courts, we need independent courts because otherwise we end up living in a dictatorship where the government can do what it wants without any brake on its power. So I may not like any particular decision of the court but I'm glad the courts are there. Are you actually saying: a) You think the Rwanda policy is a good idea and b) You think the courts shouldn't have the right to form judgements on legality of action by a government?
