RBS Paqueta agreed personal terms last summer so I don't suppose this is anything new... just more waffle. It has been reported that Man City are mot prepared to meet Paqueta's release clause. I also doubt if they will entertain signing him until the gambling allegations have been put to bed. I therefore doubt anything will be decided and this will probably drag on over the summer. Obviously on his day Paqueta is a great player but he has proven to be inconsistent. Personally I reckon we can get in a player like Jota Silva for £20m who offers much of what Paqueta does and have £60m left over. I'd be perfectly happy to see him go as long as we hang onto kudus and Bowen.

Nutjob Your petulant ramblings are getting ever more tiresome. I live dangerously close to you in Southern California but you are exactly the type of expat that I have succesfully avoided. Your degredation of the UK from your sheltered life behind the Orange Curtain is nauseating.

Really think that we will get a serious offer for Bowen. Hopefully it will be batted away.

Ings might have something still to offer . Under a more attack minded manager. But Aaron cresswell no . His legs went at least 3 years ago . Great servant. but that's the type of decision that's always held the club back . No doubt the no ambition mugs on KUMB will be defending it .

“ If Cresswell gets an extension it will bebecause he is Home grown” We bought him from ipswich and I reckon he’ll end up back there if we let him go.

"Nutstain It’s easy to sit there in hindsight and sick out the mistakes but we all know Moyes got way more right than wrong, as evident by his league finishes (65 points) most in clubs history and mastery of managing a prem league squad while dealing with 3 succesful European campaigns. You neatly avoid mentioning that actually he didnt manage the squad effectively as the squad ran out of steam after xmas 2021 and weve gone downhill ever since (barring the start to this season when results belied the performances..) again running out of steam at xmas because he doesnt manange the squad, no use of youth or squad rotation that is squad non-management.. There's no way JWP will be sold for more than we paid... unless he picks up next season... Arieola will retire with us no sell on.. We have as much right to spew our opinions as much as you but yours relate mostly to 2 seasons ago... we have no league form to speak of... and the squad is a bit of a mess... not a great legacy... 6th and 7th 2 seasons ago then14th and 9th and a tin pot trophy for £400m+ not such a good return is it. But roll on the next chapter and we can forget the mindnumbing style, ridiculous decision making and the humiliating results..."

"Side of Tran, “No striker did well here” Funny I thought Antonio has been a great servant for the club. Lingard, not a striker I know but he excelled under Moyes. Has as Bowen , Kudus and Paqueta. I rate JWP and Emerson and Areola all who have performed well for us since arriving and have increased their market value. Coufal has also been a solid player, limited somewhat but he has more than held his own and has been a good buy. Zouma too has been a good buy. Might be past his prime now but he is a huge part of our success. It’s easy to sit there in hindsight and sick out the mistakes but we all know Moyes got way more right than wrong, as evident by his league finishes (65 points) most in clubs history and mastery of managing a prem league squad while dealing with 3 succesful European campaigns. Moyes put us on the map for Europe again, doubful Kudus or Paqueta would have come here if Moyes didn’t have us in Europe. Nobody is perfect but we have some real hateful cunts spewing their garbage all over Moyes which is fucking out of order. We were flying high up until Christmas and January’s window was bad, ( nit sure it’s all Moyes fault) but last Summers window was a huge success, don’t hear too many of you cunts talk about that. Nobody gets everything right all the time, Pep sounded millions on Phillips, remember that, then he went on to ruin him. You fucking armchair managers make me laugh you’re all a bit delusional as well as cunty. Funny how you all think you know better than a manager who’s been around the Prem for decades…"

Giving him a contract because he qualifies as a home grown player isn't a good enough reason to waste millions on him. I like Cresswell. A fantastic servant who should have got a testimonial. But there no way in a million years we should be offering him a new contract. I was told Lopetegui wanted him at Wolves because they had no money. We're nowhere near the financial position Wolves are in.

"I'd take up Antonio's 1 year extension then call it time. He's still got it on his day and would be good to have around as a bit of an insurance policy up top should we find ourselves struggling for whatever reason, be it injuries or form. He's got so much invaluable experience that Lopeteguicould tap in too for 1 season bedding in."

If Cresswell gets an extension it will bebecause he is Home grown. A situation we have created ourselves by not developing enough HG younger players in recent years. Mubama and Johnson are definitely off so id be surprised if Antonio and/or Ings is sold either. Hope we can sign a few decent HG players this summer. We have mostly done very well when buying players from the Championship.

"goose 10:59 Mon May 20 ""Scamacca scored 8 in 27 for us. That’s pretty far from failure."" It's a far better scoring rate than Antonio who is revered by some. Did I read from Huffers on here that Cresswell is going to be getting a contract extension? I'm hoping I dreamt it. I've got an awful feeling next season isn't going to be too far different from this season."
