"ATH, it's perfectly normal to be suspicious of that midget cսnt given his previous. I don't think the team had even flown back from prague last summer when he'd rung in to that jock bastard on talksport to flog rice. with brady, allegedly involved as much as ever, they can never be trusted"

"AT - Fuck me, the term ''knicker wetter'' hasn't been used on here for a long time, primarily because the ones that were concerned with things were proven correct and the ones throwing around the term were full of shit. However, to type that up before we've even got into June is pretty fucking tragic, I hope you're not a big queen like that in real life."

It's still only May. Probably a wee bit early to start wetting our knickers about not getting players in yet.

"Does anyone have a feeling of Deja Vu? Dithering Dave can no longer exacerbate any transfer saga so Brady and Sullivan step up to the plate. Rumours of the Bruno transfer stuttering plus being associated with Fotheringham don't look much like a positive scenario. I guess that Lopetegui announcement spiked the season ticket sales to the point where business as usual resumed? Hope not, as I was looking forward to being positive about the new era but with those two involved it is possible that the hope disappears up my backside."

"I would like Toney at the right price, it looks like the likes of Arse and Chelsea are no longer interested, so we may be his best option as he wants to stay in the PL. Would have thought Bruno would have been a smooth one, but as we have seen many times before deals can get complicated and it isn't always Sullivan's fault."

"Bruno xfer about to collapse according to some Brazilian journo? Salary offer rejected? Could just be normal negotiations with first offer rejected and media sensationalism etc ? Then again Sullivan factor and his history of “penny wise, pounds foolish” or simply that this Bruno fella is trying to “gauge” an unrealistic wedge? The “smooth as silk”’era under Steidten being tested early doors"

Faux Yes to both because this time he'll be encouraged to join playing for someone he knows well and enjoyed some of his best Football with. Lopetegui will be key to him coming here and I see little problem with him arriving on that basis.

"Not that he’ll play a minute so it won’t matter, but Di Canio thinks Foderingham is a wanker, so it’s a no from me on that basis alone. Use a young keeper as third choice."

Tim is off in his jet to get the two Brazilians over the line and Foderingham is almost there for the 3rd choice keeper position.

"lowlife, As far as I know, place of birth, country they play for, even their nationality mean nothing. A home grown player simply means a player who has been registered with any English or Welsh FA club for at least 3 years before they turned 21."

We have made offers for En-Nesryi about 3 times at least and he rejected them every time Would he change his mind and would we want someone with that record?

I see that En Nesyri is also being linked with Villa... can see him going there rather than to us. Suppose it depends if he thinks he can compete with Watkins.

"How does Brereton-Diaz work for the homegrown quote? Was born in England but plays for Chile. Genuine question BTW, not being snarky at all. Just curious if homegrown means where they were born, rather than which country they play/qualify for."

"Would like us to look at Brereton-Diaz for LW depth. Can play LW or up top, quick...good finisher and ticks homegrown quota. Get him on a perm or on loan"

"Mirror Aston Villa and Crystal Palace target transfer of England sensation tearing up Belgium Archie Brown has impressed with Belgian side Gent after coming through the ranks at Derby County, and now both Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are plotting a move for the left-sided defender By Adrian Kajumba Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have joined the list of clubs keeping tabs on new England youngster Archie Brown. Full-back Brown came through Derby County ’s academy before leaving in 2021 and has been making a name for himself abroad firstly in Switzerland with Lausanne and then Gent in Belgium. His progress has caught the attention of the FA and he was rewarded last week with a first ever international call up when he was selected for England’s Elite League Squad, formerly the Under-20s. The left-back’s performances have also seen him attract increasing attention from clubs ahead of this summer’s window. Chelsea, West Ham and Everton have all previously been linked with moves for Brown. Villa and Palace have now made recent enquiries, along with the Hammers, into Brown’s situation with Gent hoping to attract as much as £17million from any deal. Europa League qualifiers Lyon, meanwhile, are among the overseas clubs interested in Brown and the French side have also made a fresh check. His admirers will get another chance to run the rule over him when he links up with the Elite League Squad for their upcoming friendlies against Sweden and Ireland. Sunderland ’s Jobe Bellingham - brother of Real Madrid superstar Jude - and West Ham ’s George Earthy, who scored his first senior goal against Luton this month, are among the other new faces in head coach Ben Futcher’s squad for the games in Croatia next month."

"Diego Gomez is weird one for me. 9 appearances and 7 starts in MLS. Been out over a month with a high ankle sprain. Since his injury, Miami have won every game except for a tie so don't seem to be missing him. Considering he has Messi, Jordi Alba, and Suarez around him; I'm not too sure I'd be investing heavily on that small of sample size. I haven't watched all of MIami's games, but I've seen a few, and he never stood out to me."
