"Woah woah woah. It's painful enough people saying Cornet looked good last season (he didn't, he looked fucking awful), but to regard Benny as a good player for us in recent times, is fucking nuts. The little cսnt shot when he should've passed and passed when he should've shot. And each time, the pass or shot were wayward. The ultimate YouTube player. But spend 90 mins watching him and you realise he's a fucking wanker. I find it fitting that his last involvement was the wink and penalty miss. If we get ¬£15 mill from someone for him, we've won the lottery."

"El Scorchio 3:07 Thu Jun 6 I never felt like Benny was isolated. If he could hit a final ball, he'd have the big clubs sniffing around, but as is, he's one of the most maddening players to watch."

"Haha! Brilliant, I've just looked up that Keeper Miguel we're trying to buy and he's 6ft fucking 8! Lopetegui wants to build a squad full of skilful Brazilians and giants, as most of the profile he wants here are tall and physically strong. Omorodion the Striker is 6ft 5 and built like a brick shithouse. If he gets most of his top targets and I can us being a nightmare to play against when it clicks."

"Inside Futbol West Ham Trying To Hijack Nottingham Forest’s Swoop For Brazilian West Ham United are looking to hijack Nottingham Forest’s swoop for Corinthians goalkeeper Carlos Miguel and the decision is likely to come down to the player. Shot-stopper Miguel is available to move on from Corinthians this summer with a release clause in his deal set at €4m. Nottingham Forest have been working on signing the goalkeeper and do have a verbal agreement in place with him. They are now facing a fight to bring him to the City Ground though as, according to Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, West Ham have entered the hunt. Like Nottingham Forest, West Ham have agreed to pay the €4m needed by Corinthians. The choice of which Premier League club to sign for now lies in the hands of the 25-year-old. Nottingham Forest and West Ham will make their pitches to try to convince Miguel to sign on the dotted line. The goalkeeper has made four appearances in Brazil’s Serie A this term, keeping two clean sheets."

"Eze definitely. Think he was even cheaper. Watkins was a little more but not significantly. Would obviously have preferred both. Has to be said, anyone watching the Championship play off final that year featuring both Benrahma and Watkins and deciding to pursue Benrahma was pretty much clueless. Benny was subbed in what was at that point the biggest game of his career because he just doesn't have that big occasion mentality. It was obvious"

My biggest frustration is that when we got Benrahma we could have gone for Eze at QPR instead. Might have been that Brentford were agreeable to the initial loan deal we had while QPR weren’t Watkins went to Villa from Brentford around the same time I think but he was more expensive Always found Benrahma frustrating Talented but no end product

I like Benrahma but if it’s a choice of him or Jota Silva I’d go Silva.

"Yet he made such a positive and consistent impact instantly for Lyon once he left us in the Jan window. Sure, people could point to a lower quality of League but my points not really getting at the quality, it's the fact he was played to his strengths and he flourished out on loan helping Lyon go from bottom half to qualifying for Europa League football, as well as go close to winning a French Cup against the might of PSG - Off the back of helping us win the Europa Conference just a year ago. I think we can point to the manager being more of the issue than the player when you look at that context. And maybe should he stay and play under Lopetegui he could flourish more in our side where he has showed flashes of quality in the past with us, if not so consistent. I'd like to see him given a go, especially if we don't get good money for him as he does possess quality and don't share the same low opinion of his game as some others do."

Faux - Garcia will be heading to Germany with the Spain squad on Monday so I doubt anything will happen until after the Euros unfortunately. Mind you I see that Villa also want Gallagher. I can't imagine they would be after both?

"Posted on KUMB… “Tim Vickery in his interview with West Ham Network today said that Vini Jr opened the floodgates for everyone. They bought him at 16, got him in at 18, and by 20 he was looking like a future Balon d'Or winner. He said that once Vini broke in, the clubs really started paying attention to Brazil again. He said West Ham are far from the only club doing this. When asked about Tim ""the pearl diver"" Steidten's focus, he said that there's a lot of value in Brazil and a lot of technically sound players with blistering pace that are getting looks from big, big clubs. Guilherme is one of those players. He also suspects Luis G is a year or two from being a real contributor for the first team. He'll be developed and he'll get some minutes, but Tim doesn't expect him to come in and light the league on fire.“"

Was watching a bit of SSN & saying that the clubs that need to sell players before 30 June to avoid PSR breaches are: Leicester Forest Everton Villa Chelsea Newcastle Interesting Villa are there and looking to move in on Aleix Garcia. We need to push that quickly as presume they wouldnt want to do it before July 1

"I'm not 100% on this but I think with the post-Brexit rules we wouldn't have been able to sign Haller, Benrahama or Fornals as at the time we got them they hadn't played much internationally and probably wouldn't have qualified under the points system. I don't think any of the current squad would be effected as the non-English players were regular internationals already."

I wouldn't mind seeing Benny back in a more attacking and progressive line up where he's not isolated on the left wing so much. I think he's got more to offer than we've seen under Moyes. It still bothers me that Scamacca got misused and fucked off as well.

"Personally I just think Steidtens on a massive blag out there and we were only after 1 player. All the others are just a fugazi, fairydust, they don't exist. And as long as we all think he's hard at it recruiting more Brazilians, he's enjoying the best vacation ever at Sullivans expense. Got to admire it really."

I thought we had an issue with the homegrown stuff this season? I know Cresswell helps towards it but strange seeing all these links to Brazilians.
