"Just the small matter of convincing him that were a better bet than Leverkusen. And his own club, where he also has Champions League football on offer."

"This Guilherme transfer is the final piece of the jigsaw in the Carrick deal. Guilherme Has taken his place just behind Wright Phillips in the queue for his medical. Hopefully he signs before he’s shown the Stratford bowl, the portacabins down at Rush Green and Doris the Tea Lady’s ash laden attempt at tapas for Lopetegui’s new team diet plan?"

We need to beat Leverkusen and get Aleix Garcia over the line. Apparently he is Lopetegui's no.1 target and he would transform how we play in an instant. Inexplicably Spain have left him out of their squad so his move should be wrapped up soon and he will be fresh for preseason! Just need to get ahead of the Germans...

"Sport Witness West Ham initiate contact over signing Argentine defender – Hammers not stopping West Ham are one of the busiest Premier League teams at the start of the summer market. The Hammers have had a big concentration on Brazil and they should be able to conclude at least a couple of transfers from there. That isn’t the only business that West Ham, and their sporting director Tim Steidten, are currently dealing with, as claims come from Italy of an approach regarding Nehuén Pérez. The 23-year-old Argentine plays for Udinese and has also been of interest to Napoli. According to the Gianluca Di Marzio’s report, Antonio Conte’s new club offered €16m for a deal in the winter market, but were knocked back. Presumably any move would have to be for more than that bid. West Ham have made initial contact, and that was likely to find out the financials involved in a transfer and whether the player himself would be up for the move. There’s no indication yet over what the outcome is, or Pérez’s view of a transfer to the London club."

"Sport Witness Aston Villa and West Ham can ‘sink the blow’ to beat competition with ‘important offer’ By Naveen Ullal On May 21st, we covered claims from Italy that Aston Villa insist on signing Torino’s Raoul Bellanova. The Villans aren’t the only English club as West Ham are also in the mix to sign him in the summer window. That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by ASRomaLive.it, who say the 24-year-old has ended up on the radar at Aston Villa and West Ham. The Premier League duo are mentioned in the report that says AS Roma are currently in the lead. It’s also explained that Napoli, Aston Villa and West Ham are all looking at the right-back, who has excelled for Torino in the recently concluded season. Last summer, the Turin club signed Bellanova from Cagliari, and his displays have seen him make his debut for Italy. The report says both Unai Emery’s side and West Ham ‘appreciate’ the progress he’s made at Torino, so much so that they could ‘now sink the blow with an important offer’. With a deal expiring in 2027, Torino chairman Urbano Cairo would need at least €25m to part ways with Bellanova, and the price could increase if he were to impress at the Euros. The outlet says Cario’s request is an issue for Roma, but that may not be the case for Aston Villa and West Ham. The Premier League duo ‘appreciate’ Bellanova, and they could make an offer to overcome competition in the next window. Bellanova spacer"

"""the bird is a bit annoying but interesting"" I actually find her better than a lot of the other youtubers TBH! Talks sense and unlike some of the others who prattle on like Old Woman she stays on point and asks good questions or makes good points. Fair play to her, mind you when she's first came on to talk about ""Brazilians"" an image came to mind that had nothing to do with football!!!! LOL"

Been talking about Greaves for a while & saw the Hull chairman saying they understand he wants to play Premier league & wont stand in his way. Would hope we would announce him & Guillherme on Friday when the transfer window opens on the same day as the Euros start.

It seems Greaves of Hull is edging to a move to West Ham. Looks like a very confident strong centre back to replace Aguerd.

"One loose comparison I do remember is 18 year old Paul Ince starting his first game in a mid week Zenith Data systems game, under lights against Chelsea. Forgetting his character etc for a moment and his poorly managed exit to the Mancs for a moment, I remember all of us in the West side chicken run all realising within 10 mins that he was a special player. The way he controlled and passed the ball and the balance he had. He stood out and immediately was trying to make things happen and glided past a coulle of players, unleashed a 25 yard shot that hit the bar. Lets hope this Brazillian is at that level or has that potential. Question I have is his physicality. Anyone know how strong he is or isnf? Kudus has shownhow key that is to success in the Prem along with skills and speed of course."

"Of course there's little end product on the clips, because he's only had 39 professional games having only started last season. Almost every kid starting out has no real end product and it's just something you have to accept when taking that risk. What you do focus on though is, is the quality ability there which he clearly has but also has he proved he can make an important impact when it matters and he did that in spectacular fashion scoring that injury time excellent match winning goal from distance in an important game. Just as he made a valuable contribution effectively assisting the most recent last minute winning goal Pameiras scored to win a League game. The sample size is tiny but to make that kind of significant impact as a 17/18yo in Brazils top League and Libertodores is highly promising. If he's producing in big games already at one so young indicates he's got something special going on. For me, he looks like he's going to be cheap buying him for £19M but that's just a feeling I get as he looks the part and clearly well highly thought of playing in all of Brazils age groups standing out, but who knows for sure, he might end up being a total dud. I seriously doubt it though."

Exile - Yeah but he's not long turned 18 and played a handful of games if he had that as well we wouldn't be able to sign him.

"Guilherme is clearly an exciting talent but I'm not going to get too excited just yet. If you watch his YouTube it's clear that he has amazing dribbling skills and is seriously quick, but an awful lot of the clips don't show his final ball or end product and there must be a reason for that. Hopefully Lopetegui and his team can add some refinement and bring out the best in him."

"GFF According to L’Équipe, Lyon are set to complete the permanent signing of Saïd Benrahma (28) from West Ham United. The Algerian international has spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at OL and played a starring role in their impressive comeback in the second half of the season. The West Ham United attacking midfielder made 15 appearances for Les Gones last season, scoring 3 goals and registering 4 assists in all competitions. Benrahma’s loan move from the Premier League club cost Lyon €6m and upon the activation of his purchase option, the complete value of the deal should rise to €16m. The purchase option is valued at €10m."

"Woah woah woah. It's painful enough people saying Cornet looked good last season (he didn't, he looked fucking awful), but to regard Benny as a good player for us in recent times, is fucking nuts. The little cսnt shot when he should've passed and passed when he should've shot. And each time, the pass or shot were wayward. The ultimate YouTube player. But spend 90 mins watching him and you realise he's a fucking wanker. I find it fitting that his last involvement was the wink and penalty miss. If we get ¬£15 mill from someone for him, we've won the lottery."
