"Chalobah could be a go, but Broja is pretty much finished (if he ever started) and Gallagher would be too expensive and would have other suitors, Spurs meant to be interested. We need to get the likes of Earthy, Potts and Orford involved, not spunking circa 50 mil on the likes of Gallahger. I know we don't work at weekends but what's the hold up with AVB now?"

"Hate the site but could be something in this… https://www.hammers.news/transfer-news/chelsea-chief-todd-boehly-rescues-west-hams-window-as-4-deals-now-possible/ Boehly rides white horse to London Stadium Because he has just put 12 Chelsea players up for sale – including four genuine Hammers targets. And they’re all in positions Steidten and Lopetegui are desperate to strengthen. According to The Sun, Chelsea are ready to ship out 12 players in the next five weeks. The report states that West Ham centre-back target Trevoh Chalobah, who has been left out of their tour of the US, will be sold. It claims Chelsea will accept reasonable bids for longstanding Hammers striker target Armando Broja too. Journalist Graeme Bailey recently confirmed that Broja remains a West Ham target. Another Chelsea striker linked with the Hammers recently is David Datro Fofana. The report claims he 22-year-old Ivorian, who scored a long-range belter for Burnley against the Irons at the London Stadium last season, is also for sale. West Ham are looking to strengthen in centre-midfield as well. And another longstanding target, Conor Gallagher, is also very much for sale. Although Atletico Madrid could provide serious competition for his signature."

Shorty I think they are one of the teams after Aguerd so might see some movement there. I honestly think the fuck up of the recent days will see some big movement now. I see we are linked with Roberto on a free. Absolutely no brainer!

Cheers Alan. Can’t say I know too much about him but see £25m has been mooted and Aguerd looks like he is getting interest at £25m.

"Being peddled that the BM RB was a smokescreen all along to drive Man Utd to action and bring AWB more into our clutches. No idea if true, but the reality is we wanted AWB before Mazraoui so if that's how it turns out, all's well that ends well. We'll clearly end up with Duran too, even if near the end of the window. And we clearly want another CB and a winger. I'm confident all will arrive before the end of the window. Expect a CM will come down to whether Irving is up to it, and the decision that needs to be made on Soucek by Lopetegui. - Foderingham - AWB - Kilman - Cheaper CB (Solet ideally but happy with Bruno) - Guilherme - Winger (Silva, Summerville, whoever...) - Duran Plus potentially Irving, Cornet, and even Ings back in the squad in a meaningful way, with a manager that can actually work with and keep a squad happy... Can still be an excellent Summer. I'm expecting to see us shift out Antonio. Can't see him wanting to play second fiddle to Duran, will fancy a pay day somewhere, and he's tolhe sort of guy to be disruptive if he's not 'the main man'."

https://metro.co.uk/2024/07/27/chelsea-target-jhon-duran-hints-joining-west-ham-instead-instagram-live-21308042/?ito=newsnow-feed Bit of a dick move but that’s footballers these days. Just don’t complain when he’s acting up in two years looking for a move to Chelsea.

Latest apparently is that we are back in for AWB. Duran is progressing without Orford being involved who is being offered a new contract.... I expect that can all be dragged out for another 2-3 weeks.

I'm not over over fussed about missing out on the BM RB but how we have even managed to fuck that up. I know he is due this loyalty payment but the fee was only around 12-15 mil ffs. We can't blame dithering Dave this time.

How long was Antonio's new contract for? Probably something stupid like 5 years.

So apparently back in for Bruno with improved wages and Man U have reduced the fee for AWB further. I’m guessing they are thinking the reduced fee we can offer better wages and a signing on fee to make him happy.
