"The most accurate ITK I've seen this summer. Is pezza on kumb and in the brown stuff. He's absolutely adamant a £40m plus players still coming in . Call me mental but I've a feeling it's Toney . Apparently he wants ,£250 000 a week but there's other ways of covering those wages . A huge signing on fee could negate it . Certainly more exciting than were used to ."

I couldn't imagine having Duran desperate to join us and instead getting Fullkrug and Abraham..

I’m not sure if he is injury prone. He’s had an ACL injury which kept him out for the best part of a year. It depends on if he is fully recovered or not. At 26 he still potentially has a decent career ahead of him.

Cannot imaging bringing in Abraham with an obligation to buy. Way too many question marks over him. ACL injuries generally aren't kind to someone with his kind of frame.

"OK - can't really call the bloke though: the club offered him a contract and terms and he agreed. I've done the same (albeit with quite a few less zeros in the rate of remuneration) and just sat in the corner for a few months while the ""grown ups"" decided what they actually want."

"Hard to tell, Mike but the quote from Moyes talked him up as the best on offer in that window, as someone with PL experience."

No thank you to Tammy Abraham unless it's a loan without obligation. Only 8 goals in 37 in 22/23 doing his ACL in the final game. As a result only 8 appearances and 1 goal last season. Can't believe he is still only 26.

I’d be happy to see us tell Abraham to jog on… by all accounts he wasn’t interested in joining when we showed interest in the past.

"It looks like this Abraham story may have some legs? I'm on the fence with it, injuries aside he strikes me as someone that needs three chances to score one, and what about Fullkrug? Any thoughts? The muted price seems OK though."

If we intend signing Tammy Abraham I hope the medical at Spire is extremely thorough. Roma seem mighty keen to get rid of him.

"It’s a job, that’s the long & short of it. There’s no moral obligation to leave because it suits the club. If my employer asked me to walk away from an ironclad multi million pound contract, I’d laugh at them. If we want rid of those players then we will be funding it in some way."

"norwaytips - yes, I would walk away, for two reasons: firstly because I would want to be playing regularly; secondly because I would have too much self-respect (and respect for West Ham) to allow myself to become a free-loader."

"the exile. They have a contract and West Ham gave them that contract. Would you walk away from a million pounds, or two, when you had a contract for that money?"

"Leroy. Scarles was class and cool, self assured. He'll score goals virtually from anywhere. I think he was at left wing back for his 2nd goal but looked like CM for his first. Orford again assisted twice the pass to Ajala was world class. The u21's have 3 very good players in those 3. Kodua has gone out on loan to Wycombe again, i wonder if he will play right back there or further up top. ?"

I’m hoping Scarles will play at least some part on Wednesday. Ajala looked good too - his second goal was quality. He’s still only 17.
