"The Larry Sanders Show Recently gave in waiting for it to turn up cheap and bought the box set of all series, from 1992 to 1998. This is the original comedy that raised the comedy bar before Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Extras and such like, which must have been heavily influenced by Gary Shandling's genius comedy. HBO's flagship programme for the 90s. I strongly recommend this to all comedy fans. I've been laughing out loud during every episode of series 1 so far."

Private Dancer 2:07 Mon Apr 27 I'd agree with that. Series 3 and 4 aren't a patch on the first 2. Was orginally only written to be a two series job and was changed at the last minute due to it's popularity

The Wire is obviously the five o's trying to catch the Barksdale gang in the act with wire taps and surveillance. Fucking superb programme and Omar is one of the best characters in anything ever."
