"Do you enjoy watching a hysterical, whiny, crying, uncontrollable woman? Every episode seems to be 45mins of that."

"Just finished Da Vinci's Demons Utter rubbish historically but entertaining with the bonus of plenty of tits, bums and genitalia on show."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Does anyone else use Showbox here? And are you having the same problem with it as I am if so? Meaning it can't find links and spends much of the time paused (""Processing..."") before (unsuccessfully) locating servers and won't update without crashing (""Unfortunately Showbox has stopped working"")? Great App but just does not work now on either of my 3 x android devices (tablet, phone, T8V3 box). Any thoughts apart from using Wookie/SALTS which is not as user friendly? Ta"

"Boxed sets are a diminishing return. You start with classic TV like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, The Wire, The Shield, Six Feet Under, etc - then you pass on to good stuff like Justified, Rectify, Damages or whatever floats your boat. Then you end up spending 6 weeks a pop watching average to mediocre stuff. The trick is to get out while you are ahead."

"nice one, nothing worse than waiting every week :.)"
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"cheers, will have a bash. now that its coming towards summer a lot of series are coming to an end so need something else to watch."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Bloodline does start off slow but picks up the pace after the first 2-3 episodes so might be worth having another stab at it.

"colly, are they putting up the full season on Friday or one a week?"
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"I highly recommend American Crime. There's been 2 seasons so far - each telling a different story. Not sure why it hasn't been picked up in the UK yet. Reminds me a bit of Southland - brilliantly written and acted but a bit depressing. It was created by the bloke who wrote U-turn, 3 Kings and 10 years a slave."

Bloodline is the best thing I've watched in years. Absolutely loved it and I can't wait for the second series which starts very soon.

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
just started watching 'Bloodline' on Netflix. not the greatest plot but it does have a great cast and Ben Mendelsohn is brilliant as ever
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
love & hate was decent but the story just got stretched and the same characters just doing the same shoiiit got boring after series 2 ish
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"cr, I did really enjoy love/hate to begin with but I think too many characters have been and gone and the one's we're left with aren't as good. I'll watch the next season though, do you know when it's due out?"
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Luther was brilliant. In my top 5. If anyone hasn't seen love/hate it's an Irish gangland show. I couldn't recommend it enough. I'm also all over orange is the new black at the moment.
