"So finally finished The Punisher. Yet another series that tears the arse out of dragging the whole thing out over 13 episodes, although TBF there was a bit of logic to some of that. When it wasn't meandering along at 2 MPH it was interspersed with some ridiculous violence. Not sure how many times the cսnt gets shot, stabbed, battered to fuck, but all a bit too silly, really, even for me. Anyway, more importantly (MUCH more importantly), I just realised last night that season 3 of Gomorrah has kicked off, which I've not noticed mentioned on here. Watched the first episode last night - fucking superb."

"Marvel fucking it up with their Netflix stuff is becoming the norm for me unfortunately. They're dragging the fucker out so far, anyway. Thing is, if you watch back over the Punisher fight scenes from Daredevil, they are so fucking violent, I can't see anyone making a TV series like that."

"Trapped was excellent. Really enjoyed Stranger Things. It's daft but I think it's really well done. Agreed, Miike, it was always going to be hard for Punisher to meet those expectations. Be warned, it drags on. Anyway, hopefully, it'll pick up 2nd half of the season."

"Been mentioned before but 'Trapped' is worth watching, about a mysterious murder in a town in Iceland, only 1 series in."

"I'm on season 2 of The Girlfriend Experience. It's about a nympho law student who becomes an escort. I'd give it a 7/10. Season 2 has different characters. Anna Friel plays a gay government bod, and unlike in Brookside, gets her kit off."

struggled through tin star but did enjoy the last 3-4 episodes when everything came to fruition. Is there going to be a second season do we think? or are they just going to leave it on that cliff-hanger ending? not sure what else there is for them to do in a 2nd season

"Takashi Miike Glad you enjoyed it & agree about Bill Pullman, he was excellent in that role. A certain episode near the end really psyched me out, was thinking about it all night. Good to see it's finally on Netflix UK. https://goo.gl/Y6GDdM"

"Claypole I think the argument there is that the drunk chief remembered nothingnof his actions when he sobered up. But he would have remembered them when he was drunk because he was two people effectively. Very odd Whitey was a decent character in the end - butvthe weird dancing shit at the start was just so random, whilst the side story of the evil oil firm went off in an odd direction too Sortbof came together ok by then end but wasn't really worth the effort and a waste of a decent cast and good idea"

"I thought tin star was quite strange in the fact that nobody knew who each other were despite the fact that they must have met 10 years previous. Enjoying Vice principles, thought snowfall was good as well. The Vietnam doc was excellent and showed what a sneaky fuck Nixon really was."

"Tin star was really disappointing If the whole thing had been like the final two episodes it may have been much better, but tonally its all over the shop - stuck somewhere between gritty and dark comedy, but none of the actors are on the same page. Tim Roth is just tim Roth-y and the actual concept of the whole thing plays out very oddly. The lack of actual emotion shown by two parents after their son is shot in front of them is also absurd"
