"nurse, no she looks like her but the actress is some bird called lisa emery watched a decent first episode of a doc/drama called real detective. each episode is based on a real life case using actors to dramatise the crime/investigation and the actual detective that worked on the specific case narrating in between scenes. its surprisingly good"

"Re Janet McTeer: there is a very little known film called Hawks that she is in. If you get the chance to see it (it seems to have disappeared and it was never released on DVD, unless I'm mistaken) I recommend it."

"I love 'Ruth Langmore' in Ozark. Great character, terrific actress. Are we still allowed to say 'actress'?"

"Revisiting Morse via ITV player at the minute. All series available and a damned good watch. Castle Rock is good, if you like Stephen King. Can be downloaded via the US. Abandoned a couple of new US series, Succession and Sharp Objects. Interminably dull and no characters I could in any way link to. Enjoying Bodyguard at the moment but annoyingly having to wait for each episode."

"The last season of power I thought was probably the most shocking story wise, never saw a lot that happened coming. His wife is fine, proper down and loyal, not whiny at all."

Last season Power was a bit disappointing. But as I pointed out years ago it’s a great series. Yeah Ghost’s wife is a whinny bitch. Jack Ryan was ok.

Terrarium has shutdown!!! Bad news indeed. Any alternatives out there? Or will have to revert back to Showbox.

"I watched El Chapao for about three episodes and got bored- its a very ""lite"" version of Narco- done on the cheap and plot holes and bad acting all over. So its a no from me. Pablo Escobar: El Patrón del Mal which is a colombian TV series - so it has english subtitles i really enjoyed- Its long- there are around 70 episodes , and is a bit SOuth American soap opera in some places however it has a couple of his original gang acting in it ( popeye) and its tracks the political side much better than Narcos. I think its on AMazon I see series 3 of Animal Kingdom is out - liked the first, got very bored with the second however I will give it a go again as it got Ellen Barkin in it and although she's getting on a bit, you deffo would ;-)"

Anyone seen El Chapo? Curious if it's worth watching as Narcos was so damn good and I'd then be annoyed if this isn't.
