"Have to admit being drawn into both seasons GLOW while the missus was watching it, I do love the 80’s retro feel. The director in the show Sam (Marc Maron) is brilliant plus a few boobies on show too!"

"Series 1 & 2 of Narcos are superb, Wagner Moura is fantastic as Escobar series 3 without him really lacks menace however still watchable."

"Not a box set, unless it's a very small box set, but watching the Spanish series 'The Plague'...like it a lot, one of the better things I've seen in a while."

"Cheers Miike - 4 to go, should be done by tomorrow. Agreed on slim Jonah, kind of puts me on edge and reminds me of a guy I work with who lost loads of weight. Didn’t look right and for some unknown psychological reason, I felt a bit awkward around him."

im not sure whether its the lack of a plot that's the problem or that the slim jonah hill isn't that likeable?

"Miike - I’m on the 4th episode of Maniac. Complete shite so far and am only sticking with it as Emma Stone is in it. How far have you got, and does it get any better (assuming you’re beyond episode 4)?"

"And re McGovern, without doubt one of the best tv writers of his generation. Unfortunately, he's not particularly liked by the senior execs at a particular British Broadcasting Channel. In an interview he once said that he'd taken to sending post cards to his scripts, asking them if anyone had read them yet."

The Street was superb..had many great actors. Timothy Spall as the cabbie hoskins as the pub landlord was brilliant. Mcgovern has the gift for storytelling..the gift of making bods THINK
