"anyone who likes cooking/food programmes, THE CHEF SHOW is good. it's a spin off from Jon Favreau's film Chef, and features him & his chef mate Roy Choi (Kogi)"

"A hidden gem is a show called Barry. It’s Sky Atlantic but hasn’t had much advertising, bloody brilliant though, I’d highly recommend if anyone is looking for something to watch. 2 seasons so far with about 8 episodes each."

Kaiser. Can’t be any worse than that arsehole they had in charge in the control room.? Another vote for Chernobyl here. Did the lot in one sit in on Saturday. Sure it ain’t a barrel of laughs. But compelling viewing nevertheless

I've downloaded Chernobyl and will probably binge on it this week. I'm looking forward to it based on all the recommendations.

"Another vote from me for Chernobyl. Went to school with guy who worked as editor on it. Brilliant stuff. Also watching the Ken Burns 10-part series on the Vietnam War on Netflix. Absolutely fantastic. Took them ten years to make, and can see why."

"Chernobyl is really good 10/10, if you haven't watched well then you should. Obviously like many I remember it happening but was a bit short on details until I watched the series. Also would recommend Sharp Objects and Escape at Dannemora After watching Chernobyl I really wondered about what seems to be the real cause of the seemingly ever rising cancer rates, blamed on everything from smoking to packeted soup."

"Good Omens was decent. Nothing more. One of the fellas from Spinal Tap is in it, with what is the worst Scottish accent since Brigadoon."

"Somone told me Amazon/BBC have done a really good job of ""Good Omens"" but you should all bloody well read it first, before watching. I may well read it again before checking the TV version."

"I watched the first series of OA. It was alright. I can’t be bothered to watch series 2 though. I’ve got a few things on the go. I have to watch the last episode of The Virtues, I’m halfway through S2 of The Rain and I just started Good Omens. Then there is Black Mirror S5 and Killing Eve S2."

"Not a recommendation, but am currently ploughing through iZombie as it's easy viewing at my desk and the English chap in it has just mentioned that he's West Ham. For a team who wins fuck all, we are mentioned in programmes over here and across the pond more than any other team by a country mile. There is an unbelievable bird in it though - Aly Michalka or something. Norks!!!"
