"I saw they're launching a 3rd walking dead series in a couple of weeks, and still plan for the first of the movies with Rick to come out this year, really going to be flirting with over saturation. Just from the brief trailer of the new series i watched though it looks like it may well be tied into Rick's new story too"

"Better Call Saul, turned dark seeing the nasty side of Gus and Mike. Excellent series. Bob whats his name was born for the Saul role. Curb up to episode 8. Genius comedy. The Messiah - a compelling what if ? My problem with watching Sasha Cohen is I can not get Borat out of my head. But The Spy is an excellent true story and well produced and acted. Brave brave man the real spy hung and ruthlessly tortured. After all these years the cunty Syrians still refuse to pass his remains to his family. If you liked homeland style TV, action, I found FAUDA about Mossad really good."

Anyone still watching the walking dead? really been enjoying it since Rick left and they changed all the writers. Most recent episode was one of the best for years!

Watched the first new episode of WestWorld again last night. As ever will need to read nerd-like review sites after the event to truly understand what I've just watched!

"I rarely get to the end of a “box set” as I lose interest in most TV. Breaking Bad was a good example, just couldn’t be arsed. The Sopranos was the only exception, absolutely compelling. Tried The Stranger recently. Awful. I just can’t see Dennis Pennis as anyone else."

ray winstone 11:17 Fri Mar 13 Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls Murder 24/7 on BBC iPlayer is fantastic stuff if you like true crime and especially if you live in Essex. Excellent recommendation Ray....ploughed through this at the weekend. Great insight and a definite watch for anyone Southend or Colchester based in-particular. Cheers

"Should give vice principals a go then too, very similar comedy to Eastbound & down and Gemstones, starring Danny Mcbride and Walton Goggins who is one of the most underrated actors around."

"I'm enjoying The Stranger at the moment. I'm Not Okay With This was all right but nothing brilliant in my opinion. But 20 minute episodes are fine with me and definitely worth a watch. Personally, I thought The End of the F*****g World was a lot better."

Has anyone watched the righteous gemstones. I can’t stop listening to the Misbehavin’ song out of it. I do have the kids up dancing to it and all. Lovely little number

"I'm Not Okay With This Funny, sweary coming-of-age superhero comedy drama on Netflix. Has a deliberately late 80s/early 90s vibe despite being set in the present day. If you like comic book stuff and/or Stranger Things it's well worth a watch. 23 minute episodes so you can binge the entire series in one day of your best quarantine life."

"Counterpart - a sci-fi spy thriller with JK Simmons - is very good. Don't think it's been mentioned on here, and probably not very well known as the only place it's ever been shown legally in the UK is on the Starzplay channel on Amazon Prime. Easy to find on Kodi, etc. though."

Starting eastbound and down again after my mate started watching it for the first time and coulndt stop telling me how good it is so going for a 3rd watch round on that. Also downloaded all of Blue mountain state which is completely daft and ridiculous but a very very funny show and well worth a watch if people havent seen it.

Watched the first episode of Zero Zero Zero tonight and absolutely loved it. Incredible production values and a great script that had a massive Mafia double-cross and a car-chase in a Mexican market which was really really heart-rending as he watches a schoolgirl bleed out. I hope the rest of the episodes live up to the first. Also watching Avenue 5 which is really clever and full of British actors. Funny as fuck and getting funnier. All in all not a bad time to self-isolate.
