"w4hammer, it's only on Prime in the US. In the UK it's only going to be on Sky Atlantic/NowTV (plus the usual other illicit sources like Kodi). chim seems to have been going on about it before it was even released anywhere so God knows where he saw it."

"MartinBritt Take your point, mate. Burns' undoubted emotional input makes for a bloody great bit of film-making though. And the testimony of contributors like John Musgrave and Tim O'Brien is just riveting. I guess that if you have intimate knowledge of the conflict it is hard to remain dispassionate. Will be sure look out for your recommendation."

"Fo the Communist 4:44 Tue May 5 I really rate ken burns - loved his, civil war, baseball and jazz. However I thought in some instances his Vietnam was made to suit some preconceived ideas that he and his co contributors held. I think a more balanced view - including the toll exacted on the civilian population - can be found in the PBS series ""Vietnam - A History"" based on Stanley Karnow's book. Only my opinion, I know, but check it out and see what you think."

"First 3 seasons of BCS are painfully slow, but well worth sticking with for the Nacho story and the episode in the desert. That Kim Wexler would get it as well !"

"I'm the same. Loved Breaking Bad, and never got into BCS. I think I had my fill though when Breaking Bad finished. I just got up to date with Peaky Blinders. Thought I'd hate it before I had even watched a minute of it, but was sucked in pretty quickly. Looking forward to season/series 6 of it."

"Manuel 12:02 Tue May 5 Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls I'm 3 seasons in to BCS after finally watching BB last year. As expected it's not a patch on BB. I find Goodman very irritating most of the time, and the tv film crew thing is just fucking terrible. Still, it's worth watching just for a splattering off BB characters, especially Mr happy, Mike. I agree with this. I am a huge fan of Breaking Bad, but I just couldn't get into Better Call Saul at all. I watched about 5 episodes from S1 and just found it too slow and tedious and you're right, Goodman is rather annoying in larger doses."

Next 3 episodes out of `the last dance' on Netflix... superb viewing so far... I don't mind a bit of Basketball but my eyes have been opened to the absolute genius of some of these players... one .. if not the best sporting doc series I have seen...

Just finished The Sopranos for the second time (lockdown treat). Only problem is the length of time I'll need to leave it before I can really enjoy watching it all again.

"Not a box set..yet Good new series on Apple TV ""Defending Jacob"" . Highly recommend and at 8.5/10 on imdb I'm not the only one who thinks it's good. If you don't have ATV like me then there's loads of torrent sites out there."
