Also, all 3 seasons are completely separate and self-contained so you could always try out season 2, which is the best one I think. I don't see it that way. The hillbillies are portrayed as being rather savvy. Same as Justified. Dewey Crowe notwithstanding.

I thought it was good but far from the best sports documentary ever. The main reason was because Jordan had a big hand in controlling the narrative of it so we only got to see what he wanted us to see. The best documentaries should be a bit more objective than that.
