Just finished watching Cobra Kai with my kids and we all absolutely loved. Very clever how they managed to retain the feel of the original films and that's 80's hollywood cheese. Goes to show how a bit of nostalgia can make people feel.

Decided to give Cobra Kai a go. Didn't expect to like it. But it was perfect escapism for Covid times.

My mate has just seen the Chernobyl documentary. He actually grew up in Ukraine in the 1980's and was able to count at least 8 historical inaccuracies on one hand.

The Third Day...ok one episode in but excellent. Even Jude Law putting in a good performance and I'm not a fan. Highly recommend. Notice Brad Pitt is one of the producers.

"Buster - Yea it's v good. Watched The Good Cop. Yes it's good and an easy watch, but hardly gonna live too long in the memory, and don't feel cheated that there isn't another series."

"I've been impressed by Cobra Kai. I thought it might ruin my memories of the Karate Kid but it's actually pretty good. I've just started watching a German sci fi show called Dark on Netflix, and the first 2 episodes have been pretty good so will continue with that. Buster - if you're talking about the documentary about Maradona during his time at Napoli, then it's brilliant. Get round to watching that."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Just looked, it was actually on C4 and not Sky, the 3 hours must be because it's full of adverts as I think it's 2h10 running time. Anyway, it's this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqfnW0IlKuU"

"Buster - 3 hour Sky one, one? What is that, do you mean the HBO film? If so its class. Thought Maradona in Mexico was superb, as was The Fall. After Life 2 average."
