"I flew to Naples for a holiday in Amalfi. We did a day trip to Pompeii from there. I wanted to go to Naples for a bit of sightseeing as well, but we didn't get round to it. I haven't watched the series but I think I'll try to cram it in, 'The Swiss' style, in between everything else I'm doing at the moment."

"only1billy, Suberra (Blood on Rome) starts off very well and the first 2 seasons are very good, it turns to shite after that in season 3 though, well in my opinion, just gets stupid, i struggled to finish watching it."

"I thought the 4th Series of Gomorah was never going to be as good as the first 3, especially as one of the main characters had been killed of and the other was trying to go straight, well thats what it looked liked at first. It was just as good and if anythingjust got better with each episode. Anyone who hasnt seen this from the start, should do themselves a favour and watch it, it maybe all in Italian with subtitles but its brilliant."

"Gomorrah is ridiculously good. Sends chills into you. jfk - Not been to Naples, but in Europe it's nearly always a shithole near the main station."

"Gomorrah is up thee with Narcos and LOD for me,some of the best tv ever made imo.Couple of episodes left and series 5 will be with us sooner rathter than later hopfully. Will give Suberra (blood on roam) a go next but i feel Gomorrah has set the bar so high, all else is bound to fall short."

"A brilliant series but Naples is fucking horrible. Rented a villa near Florence with my brother in law, wives and kids.Myself and brother in law decided to get the train to Naples for a day( two and half hours away, trains in Italy are cheap and well efficient)wish we didn’t. Naples may have some nice parts but around the main station is a fucking shithole. We had a couple of scummy cunts flash a blade twice. Wa had a couple of beers which turned out to cost 6 euros a pop grabbed a shit pizza and fucked off on a return train sharpish. Shittiest city in Europe."

"Just started All the Sins. Adding to my collection of religious loons. It's about murders in a village dominated by Laestadians. Almost everything is a sin for them, except for sex that might lead to pregnancy within marriage, and, bizarrely, smoking. They are violently anti-alcohol - literally violently anti-alcohol in their early days, 170 years ago, when they attacked breweries and shops selling alcohol. Although they do use wine in the communion I already know too much about Laestadians...."

"Just finished ‘Raised by wolves’, not going to scroll down to see if it’s mentioned. Ridley Scott directs and it’s some of the most warped, sometimes slow but enjoyable tv I’ve watched for a long long time. A tad fucked up in places too"

"I remember my impressions of it as a great film more than the details of the plot, so I think it must've been close to when it came out. 25+ years ago, and I wasn't even young then!"

"GPH Have you seen La Reine Margot (Queen Margot) ? A 1994 film that's one of my favorite all time films. Fantastic cast, based on the St Bartholomew's Day Massacre (Catholic's attacking the Huguenots, which lead a lot of them fleeing to the East End)"
