"Remember the Elisa Lam mystery? We had a thread on it on WHO, I think. Anyway Netflix has done a series about it. Looking forward to it. Bound to cover a load of the maddest conspiracy theories."

"Finished 'Spotless' it won't live long in the memory, but it's hard not to like a good old London gangster yarn with some comedy, sorts, and funny characters thrown in. Well worth a watch. Cheers for the reco."

After that embarrassing post from Swiss I'm going to read all his stupid posts in a Chumley Warner accent from now on.

"Manuel 3:59 Tue Feb 9 Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls ted - I am late to Line of Duty too. I'm up to finishing series 4. You will enjoy 3 and 4 equally, but as Takashi Miike said earlier it does start to get more PC. Just about to start series 3 Manuel ! Gotta be done on a cold snowy afternoon :-)"

Bishopsfinger 4:03 Tue Feb 9 So rick crook sends kids to public school and you expect them to sound like Danny Dyer? I'm a working class Londoner and my boys went to private school and they sound just like that. Sort of posh/london. So fuck off you twat.

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
There are many times in Gomorrah where the protagonists either have a chance to escape or are advised to. They don’t. They chose to live in shit places with murderers all around them. Bleak nonsense. Regarding Covid. I have consistently said it’s fine for most of us so just be happy and get on with a positive life. Of course I understand why people like bleak drama and bleak lives.

"Gomorrah is unrelentingly depressing and bleak'' Series based on drug dealing gangs in the slums of Naples. What did you expect, Fawlty fucking Towers?. Like Manuel said,go back to spreading joy and glee on the Covid thread."

BRANDED 12:27 Mon Feb 8 ''Gomorrah is unrelentingly depressing and bleak'' Says the man who has spent every day for the past year talking about death on the Covid thread. Brilliant.

"I've watched 2 eps of Gangs of London and am not overly impressed. The writers have taken Peaky Blinders, added some imitation Kray brothers, set it in the present day and added over the top violence. And the lead actor is weak. Shame, as it's a gift of a part in the right hands. Brilliant production values though and very well directed."

Gamorrah is unrelentingly depressing and bleak. You end up shouting at the screen “ just fucking off with a few million”. Like the bloke in Blackburn did.
