"Fargo series 3 is probably the best of the, erm, first three series. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel is a good one on Netflix."

"My nerdy bird made us watch Pennywise, the story of Alfred, Batman's butler and his growing up in London. Towards the end even she was falling asleep. The writing is absolutely dreadful."

"Your Honour is massively dragged out from episode 5 to the end, in some episodes nothing happens. But it's only one series so worth seeing through and still watchable."

Bloodlands is woeful. Watch Unforgotten the following night for something decent.
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
I'm on episode 9 of Your Honor. Thought it started really well but it's got a bit bizarre half way through. No particular likeable characters and get the impression a three part mini series could have cramped it all in but maybe it will pick up again. 10 episodes isn't it? Bloodlands with James Nesbit on BBC1 is pretty decent.

Vexed 3:53 Wed Mar 3 My advice would be to stick with it. It does get a lot better. But that's just my opinion.

I finished the last episode of Spiral (French police drama) last night after watching 8 series over the last month or so. All episodes available on iPlayer. A big thumbs up from me. The first series is a bit dated camera effects wise but after that its OK.
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Fargo series 4 will be back on channel 4 shortly but the actual start date has yet to be confirmed.

"Am enjoying Superstore on Netflix. First series is very meh, but gets very funny after that. Not in the same league as Brooklyn Nine Nine/Parks & Rec/The Good Place, but still a nice, easy, ammusing watch"
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Ok - just noticed there is 4 seasons of Fargo but S.4 isn’t on Netflix. - not sure where it’s available I’ve watched up to Season 3 which is the Ewan McGregor one
