Persevered with Domina. It isn't as bad as I first thought. They changed the actor playing Octavian in the 3rd episode which is a massive bonus. Still lacks pace and drama and the writing isn't too clever. It's watchable though.

I'm surprised Snowfall isn't mentioned more often given it's superb and on terrestrial TV.

"Mare of Eastown is the best cop drama around at the moment. Amazingly, 4 eps in, and Kate Winslett hasn't got her tits out once. Bloody good actress though."

"Gave Domina a go because I am a bit obsessed with ancient Rome. It is hard to express how terrible it is in absolutely every way. They have taken one of the most dramatic and we'll documented periods in Roman history and turned it into a school play. The acting, dialogue, pace, casting and anything else you can mention is like something you would expect from a group given an assignment at a drama class. TV is getting really shit. The quality of production is falling off a cliff. This is obviously meant to pick up from where Rome left off. They shouldn't have bothered."

"Swiss I didn't want to say anything to you the other day, but the Telegraph panned Domina their review. Shame, because I loved 'Rome' and was hoping Domina was going to be as good."
