Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Just finished The Killing liked it a lot but not really the last season as much. Breaking Bad, Homeland done Was going to do Luther or The Wire next - can you tell me which one is best of the two?"

"low - Yea, don't get me wrong most of these shows are all very clever and obviously written by highly intelligent people. But like I say, with Succession there isn't enough sub plots and variety for me. Take Roman for example, he has no storyline, nothing going on. In the first season when Kendall killed that kid in the car that was a good subplot, so I don't know why they don't write more storylines like that? The whole show is just about the family business. Anyway, hardly fucking important :-)"

"Manuel - yeah, I really do think it’s that good. No doubt when I watch BB and The Wire again I’ll think that they are my favourites. All 3 are exceptionally high quality, and for different reasons, so the concept of a ‘favourite’ is completely transient. The arc of Succession is narrower than that of The Wire, but the writing and direction is exceptional (that’s not to say BB and The Wire don’t have the same quality, as they do)."

"My main point (below) you conveniently decided to ignore I note, and just got your teeth into an after thought, Pathetic. Very typical of WHO and typical of a cսnt like you. ''Nonsense. BB had a lot more going on, sub plots, more going on with the characters, etc. Succession only seems to have one storyline with hardly any diversions''"

Anyway, ultimately, who gives a fuck anyway, it's just TV. I don't hear many people talking about Succession given how 'great' it is, hardly anyone at all in fact."

"Opinions and all that but it's hardly ""average at best"" And to say it's it's just about a very wealthy family squabbling is silly, you could say the breaking bad is just about a drug dealer"

"lowlife - Wow, better that BB and The Wire? Another wow. I thought it started really well, but now think it's average at best, it's just about a very wealthy family squabbling, or maybe I should watch it again as I may have also missed a few bits."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Think I’m going to watch season 3 of Succession again. So much detail that I print missed a few bits. It quite possibly is my favourite TV series, just ahead of Breaking Bad and The Wire. Hope they don’t screw it up in future seasons and know when to stop."

"Alfs 2:45 Sun Jan 10 Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls Coming to the end of the first season of The Morning Show. Jennifer Anniston is superb. Just started watching it, and have to agree it's absolutely class. To write a script revealing what utter bullying self obsessed cunts they all are in TV is brave. Also the black presenter with a race chip on his shoulder is either comedy genius or race baiting stereotyping depending on which side of the woke coin you are."
