Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Just finished The Killing liked it a lot but not really the last season as much. Breaking Bad, Homeland done Was going to do Luther or The Wire next - can you tell me which one is best of the two?"

"Watched Gommorah since it started and excitedly awaited each season as they approached. Just finished the final season and wasn't disappointed, one of the best things I've ever seen, heart breaking, exhilarating, brutal and raw. The subtitles add to it as hearing the characters speak in Italian just adds to the authenticity of it, if it were dubbed I dont think I'd bother and it wouldn't be half the show it is. Absolutely gutted that its over but what an ending, couldn't really finish any other way but that didn't stop it still being hugely emotional and moving when the curtain did finally come down, no spoilers as people really should watch this genius piece of television."

"Just smashed out 4 seasons of Cobra Kai in 6 nights. Not as cheesy as I thought it would be, season 5 will be interesting."

Gomorrah is fucking brilliant. Brutal but brilliant. Agee with Manuel probably the best thing I’ve seen as well. A lot of people get put off by subtitles which is a shame because they’re missing out.

Watched all of station eleven and all that early promise disappears when they start flying backwards and forwards and some strange interactions. Doesn’t know what type of series it wants to be but has just enough to keep you from giving up

"Dan M mentioned it previously, but Station Eleven has started well - am three episodes in and enjoying it.. Will only be nine episodes in total, but so far seems to be another’s HBO effort worth your time. Those global pandemics eh…"

Yes I did that Manuel on the first few series especially with the scenery being so grim like on our inner London estates and kids being used etc. I am still reflecting on it now it’s ended but just loved being immersed in it’s story.

Manuel. I usually steam through a series but I'm going to watch Gomorrah 5 one at a time. Want to drag it out seeing as they'll be no more.

Side - I find myself sitting and reflecting on what I just watched after each episode. I can't watch an episode immediately after the other even if I wanted to and had the time. The score is superb too.

"Finished Gomorrah 5 inside a week, the whole thing was the absolute bollocks and it will be sorely missed and unlikely to ever be matched in it’s subject matter."

"Stay Close was good up until the last few episodes, felt like they rushed it as too many stupid things were happening. Just started True Story with Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes, very good so far. Clickbait was also excellent."
