"I sort of thought Ciro wasn't dead ,as when he went into the drink you could see some bubbles (not West Ham) coming from his mouthing as he helped direct/produce he was too big a character to be written out so early."

"Sold - Not quite the same thing as Bobby Ewing was confirmed dead, the immortal wasn't. Must admit I can't remember now how they explained him living."

"You know what the Italians in Gommorrah are like with their nicknames, he's not really immortal mate. I think they got through season 4 and thought we need to find a way to bring Ciro back so they then made the film to fill in the gap. Granted its a bit arse to front and farcical but dont let it put you off what is one of the best shows ever made for tv"

"NS, you need to watch the film L'Immortale which explains all about Ciro's journey and the survival of the shooting on the boat. L'Immortale have been mentioned on this thread a number of times and recommended to watch it after the end of season 3. Just finished the new season of Top Boy, brilliant again. Can't wait for the next one but what a twist at the end of this one."

Raised by wolves is quite good. First series so much better than the second. Severance on from appletv and directed by Ben stiller is really good and an easy watch. The new Picard series isnt too bad either

Yeah it's been very good... but the Bobby Ewing lets bring him back from the dead... behave... me and the Mrs just looked at each other and burst out laughing... unless it's properly explained in the latter episodes it's a farce

Just started the last series of Gomorrah... first 4 series fucking excellent... 3 episodes in series 5 and it's like some fucked up Dallas Bobby Ewing in the shower moment... WTF... no explanation on how he CAME back to life even though he was last seen bullet riddled at the bottom of the bay.... BULLSHIT

"It's amazing Joe, as with when I now watch the modern magnum and have to listen to the iconic theme tune every time, I had to watch the credits without forwarding them 10 times. Mental, can't wait for the different credits for season 2."

"Grumpster 3:29 Fri Mar 25 James Gunn did those opening credits so you don’t want to skip past them - going against Netflix, Apple etc who do grandiose ones and give you the option to skip. Personally I bloody loved them, but do now have that Wig Wam song embedded in my head on repeat"

"Ipcress File is okay, but not great. Too much homage to the original, including Joe Cole trying to be Michael Caine, and failing badly. Tom Hollander steal the show, as always."

"lowlife wrote... Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls Started watching Top Boy recently. Great stuff but really grim! How close to reality is it? I wouldn't know, as I earn a seven figure salary (incl. the numbers after the decimal). My butler said it's pretty accurate pal"
