"Not sure how I missed it the first time but just finished Early Doors. Absolutely brilliant, fuck knows how more episodes weren't commissioned going by some of the utter shit that is still going."

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"zico I just burned through it all this evening. God, it's hard witnessing the grief of the relatives, still red raw after all these years. There were some right numpties - that daft Jeff and his ""Russian operatives dun it to draw media attention away from their invasion of Crimea"" - what a dope. And that sad, grieving Frenchman who believes it was all caused and covered up by the Anglophone nations. The most interesting things that French journalist Florence said were actually minor details in her overall theory - the fact that the US was conducting large-scale military operations in the South China Sea area (I hadn't known that before) and that the bit of wing flap that was found by dodgy Johnny-on-the-spot Blain, had its serial number plate missing, much in the manner of planes that have been decommissioned and scrapped. I reckon I could concoct a more believable conspiracy theory than that lot, given the info in the documentary."

"Gaffer, I've watched the first two and will continue with it. I'd say it's a 7/10. Finished the first 8 episodes of 1923 and it get's better as it goes along. Westerns seem the be the new rock 'n roll."

It's just incredible really how a flight can just disappear and not be found in what is it 8 years? The flight downed when it flew over Ukraine was Malaysian Airlines as well. Pretty spotless record for years and then two in 4 months.

"Cheers, zico. I'll have a bit of that. Love 'true crime' when there's a big dollop of mystery."

Gomorrah is ridiculously good. Probably the best series ever.

No idea where the Documentary thread is so will plonk this on here. Watched all three episodes of MH370: The Plane That Disappeared on Newtflix last night. An intriguing watch to say the least.

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Well. If you wasn’t entertained by the latest episode of The Last of Us. Then you should be really looking elsewhere. Because as Survival/Horror goes. It was pretty good.

"I’ve enjoyed The Last of Us… has it been deserving the hype?? Maybe…very well made , great acting … decent storylines… but it deffo does slow burn in places… but overall I’ve enjoyed… is it a Band of Brothers or a Gomorrah… no of course not…"

"I may as well persevere with the final two eps of TLOU as I've come so far, but I've been thoroughly disappointed. Eps 1 and 3 the only ones which were any good. Doubt I'll bother with S2 past curiosity as to how they will handle 'the incident' which wil presumably be near the start of it, unless they decide to really depart from the narrative of the game as well as the characterisations. I don;t see how they can't copy that plot point though."
