"SW - Agree they are good but wouldn't go OTT about them, thought the first series was a lot better than the second, Aubrey Plaza aside :-) Anon - Yea I now, but there is a difference between unlikable and awkward, but he's a good character don't get me wrong. I think Logan can be likable, and you can find yourself rooting for him over his kids."

"Watched both series of the White Lotus recently and loved it, two totally different series and almost totally different casts but so well written. Season two has a nod to West Ham’s visit to Sicily back in the day with a nutter of a West Ham Essex boy coke head bowling through the streets of Palermo off his face belting out a chorus of Bubbles. Apparently the Yank writers knew something about the history of the trouble our fans had out there years ago when they wrote the character story line. Top quality cast and script though."

"Matthew McFadyen (aka the next Mr Ratched) usually plays upper or middle class, buttoned-up types. And does so incredibly well. He is having a blinder playing against type in Succession. I'm only on the second series."

"Bloody loving succession as ever. Fascinated at how it’ll turn out. The old man is softening, or questioning a few things. Matthew McFayden- OUTSTANDING."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Even though they don't really have anything in common, Slow Horses reminds me of Succession a lot, as in they're both serious dramas but also funnier than most sitcoms. Gary Oldman is superb in it."

"I think the first two episodes of Succession in season 4 have been really good, Logan Roy on the warpath, loved his speech to his troops working on the floor - ''YOU'RE FUCKING PIRATES!!''"

"I watched The Night Agent, back to back last weekend. The first episode is probably the best, and it goes slowly downhill after that, but it must have been ok otherwise I wouldn't have made it all the way through."

The Night Agent on Netflix worth a watch! Won’t go down as a classic but entertaining none the less!

"Justified is superb, fact i can't get the missus to watch it makes me want to throw her over the balcony considering all the utter shite she wastes hours watching. The Test on Amazon prime is a great watch uf yiu're a fan of test cricket. It focuses on the re building of the Australian team undet Justin Langer after the cheating incident (sandpapergate) in South Africa. Real fly on the wall stuff.

"If we're all reminiscing and taking a trip down memory lane, bless, then Justified should be worth a shout. Not top tier, but very good IMO."
