"Swiss. 1:51 Wed Oct 11 Re: The Reckoning- BBC Why do people want to watch this? It's sick and morbid to do so if you ask me. Morbid curiosity maybe, but it's hardly ""sick"" to be compelled to watch it to learn the bigger picture of a real life monster that was part of the culture for most of us growing up. Found his bringing up of Peel and Bowie interesting, made me think if all his underage girls were ""consensual"" not many would have been that interested in tearing him down post humously."

"If you cunts want something a little different, intelligent, thoughtful and out of the ordinary may I recommend a show called Station 11. It's set on multiple timelines before, during and after a pandemic that kills off 99% of the population and is basically about what it means to be human and what you would do to retain your humanity. There are no monsters, no huge gunfights,, it's not The last of us or the walking dead It's pretty amazing, but you have to watch it carefully, it's may seem very slow in the opening episodes, but stick with it as it all comes together in a brilliant way. If you want something that will stick with you after it's finished, then this is it. Trailer below. https://youtu.be/LPm52rq8CZA?si=-Qz87-Xz-D-IyZLr"

"Anyone on here looking forward to Eddie Izzard starring in the Hammer Horror remake of Dr Jeckyll, with Izzard playing both NINA Jeckyll and RACHEL Hyde? No, didn’t think so."

All three series of Cardiac Arrest from the 90s are up on iplayer at the moment. Ged Mercurio’s first project. Looks a bit dated now but it’s still absolutely brilliant.

"May I also recommend The Americans, it's one of my all time favourite series. It's about a a pair of Russian spies living as a married American Couple in the USA during the 80's. It was created by a former FBI agent who worked in counter intelligence and whilst it isn't based on a true story it's considered to be extremely realistic in certain areas. It's brilliant and is just as much about the pairs relationship as it is about their work. The acting is superb as is the writing and production. All six seasons are on Disney + and it's finale is considered one of the best of all time."

"Hairy Definitely Luther as I haven't watched The Wire. Ruth Wilson brilliant and I love the Sussex coast scenes. Saw them filming it there years ago. Currently watching ""The Little Drummer Girl "" Gritty adaptation of John LeCarre novel. Florence Pugh,Michael Shannon and Alexander Skarsgard are all brilliant. Worth watching twice as there's quite a bit to it"

"Anyone made it to the end of Manifest. Got to the end of season 1. Tbh its OK but given there are 4 seasons I'm wondering how long they can drag the main plot on for before you actually find out why what happened, happened (hopefully that makes sense to those that have watched it). Is it worth perceiving with?"

"bell - Yea, I'll come and wipe your arse first though, son. Btw, Hijack is from Apple, it's a good watch if you haven't seen it. Billy - No I don't. I saw a little of the Stephen Hendry and BFS one but got bored. Podcasts are not really my thing for some reason."
