Manuel 4:46 Thu Mar 21 I dont think they ever properly finished it! Jeff Bridges got Covid and was diagnosed with cancer! A good watch while it lasts.

"NS, agreed. Was disappointed they stopped short at only 9 episodes but it was very good and will sit between BoB and the Pacific in terms of quality, closer to BoB but not close enough to worry it for best ever TV created which for me BoB does comfortably."

Watched last part of Masters of the Air last night... quite magnificent... look OK it's no Band of Brothers... but then again... what can be comparable to that? However as a eternal testament to some of the bravest men to ever get in a flying tin can then it will stand the test of time... easy 9/10 for me

Quite old now and I saw it when it first came out but for anyone who didn't Whitechapel has appeared on Netflix. Binged the first series last night and it is as good as I remember.

"Very, very late to the party but nearing the end of series three of the USA version of The Killing. Really enjoying it but maybe a few episodes too long but the main characters of Linden and Holder are excellent. I'm sure the Seattle tourist board loved the fact they made the place to be an absolute shit hole!"

"Only watched the first episode, but The Old Man on Disney+, starring Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow, is promising to be very decent."

"Boots - Yea I'd go with that too, about Jimmy. The main guy in it the duke was really good, I recognised him but couldn't think where, but he was in the white lotus second season."

"Manuel, concur re The Gentlemen, loved it My one gripe aside from professional cockney Winstone, was the Jimmy character, he just fucking annoyed me. !!! They would have wasted him, good analogy, for his ridiculous fuck ups"

"Started Fargo 5, not a bad start, but can't say I'm going to rush through it by any means. I'd be very pleasantly surprised if it's anywhere near the first two seasons, which were simply outstanding."

"Finished The Gentleman, really enjoyed it in the end. The cast was really good, although wasn't too convinced with Ray Winstone's character."
