"Watched Ford Vs Ferrari last night, I'm not a fan of Matt Damon but liked his character in this one, also unsure how factually correct it was but I enjoyed it none the less. It gets a thumbs up from me."

"Director Harold Ramis has said that Phil was in the Groundhog Day loop for between 30 and 40 years. The Whatculture channel estimated that the film spans 12,395 days - just under 34 years."

"Watched Knives Out, well it's something different and kept up a good pace throughout. Thought Craig was hilarious and good to see Don Johnson still knocking around and looking well."

'Throw all your bllody medals and cups in the bin because you won them all by cheating'. Steven Graham is brilliant in that film playing Billy Bremner scratching his balls at the charity shield against Liverpool then saluting Revie in the crowd. Didn't see it all (although I saw it at the cinema) but pissed myself laughing anyway. Great film.

"Green Street... yep, hats off to him Jagger is excellent in it, like a proper good actor, rather than rock star appearing in a film."

"Caught up with You Were Never Really Here, with Joaquin Phoenix, first hour almost like a rehearsal of the Joker role with added violence. Stunning film in terms of early scenes and music (Jonny Greenwood) but last half hour the plot went into unexpected places. Saw Performance a couple of years ago, what a film. Surprised how good Jagger was."

"Well okay, but you seemed a bit angry just over a fictional film? Bit weird imo. So I'd say you were the one looking for attention, and even compared it to posters on a football forum? Haha..I know you are a 'last word' poster, so you crack on with your rebuttal, son."

"Calm yourself down, Pagey, proper meltdown that was, and just over a film? I put off watching Joker as read (mainly on here) that it was really depressing, but when I did watch it I didn't think so at all really, enjoyed it, and there has been many films about mental health, Joker is hardly the only fucking one is it?? I've always thought the most depressing (fiction) film I've ever seen is Nil by Mouth, just a really ugly, grim film about a thug beating his wife up with no redeeming features whatsoever. The Aus film Once were warriors is the same."

The Gentlemen was entertaining if you don’t overthink it. I wasn’t expecting much but it was highly watchable. Especially over some of the proper poncy shit we’ve had over the last couple of years. I include Joker in that. If I wanted to spend a couple of hours watching some miserable prick have mental health issues I’d just log onto here.
