Quite enjoyed The Good Nurse with Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne. Not the best film but quite incredible considering its based on a true story. Redmayne is a fantastic actor.

Banshee of Inisherin is a cracking film. Also see In Bruges if you've not already.

"I see the last ever (supposedly) Halloween film is out, bringing an end to the franchise after 44 years. Will it be shit? Yep. Will I still watch it? Yep. JLC looks about 85 now."

"Went to see The Lost King, true story about finding the burial place of Richard III in a Leicester car park. Decent film with Steve Coogan and Sally Hawkins playing the main roles, no sex, violence but an interesting story. I've quite like some of Coogan's films such as Philomena and Stan and Ollie."

Just watched Bullet Train... just like everyone else I know that has viewed found it a right laugh (even though been savaged by the critics)... like Baby Driver on steriods... West Ham references are superb... can think of worst ways of spending 2 hours

"I see ratings and reviews for the trailers for Disney's upcoming are so bad that Disney has disabled the 'don't like' button. Apparently this shows that the trailer is great and fucking about with one of their most beloved characters is fine, but, yes, racists."

"Pentonville 9:59 Wed Sep 7 Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022) PwoperNaughtyButNot 12:04 Tue Sep 6 Based on what you said and CS, I watched this today. Fuck me. Incredible. Mesmerising. Sentimental. Thought provoking. Weird. Trippy. ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FILMS OF ALL TIME. Yeah I said it. Glad you liked it. I agree with your take on it."

"Watched the first 2 hours (of 3) of The Batman last night. My God, Robert Pattinson is awful as the eponymous hero. Just mumbles through his lines with no emotion, character arc, light and shade, a truly dreadful performance. Not sure whether I can manage the last hour."

Watched Nope the other night. Really disappointing. Can’t understand how it has the ratings it does. It’s just a quirky mess.

"Lee Trundle 11:38 Tue Sep 6 It's ok if you got nothing else to watch, but does make Cliffhanger look like Oscar winning material. A bit like the new Liam Neeson one Memory. Still trying to capture the Taken magic but he is 70 now! A Walk Among the Tombstones is a good watch though if you haven't seen it."
