"Alfs - Fwiw, I think you should have stuck with The Bikeriders, it was a slow start but the storyline started to get interesting, with a lot more 'action'."

"happygilmore 8:04 Sat Aug 17 The quality of scripts have dipped massively over the last ten years as content has become more important than quality. I recently did a rewrite of a Netflix film about the footballer Craig Johnston and I could not believe that they actually bought the script. It was terrible. And I said so. My services were no longer required. Jackpot! was just the same variant of a scene played over and over again. Shame, as the concept was an interesting one."

"Alfs 7:47 Sat Aug 17 Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022) Alfs, I just lasted 20 mins. Why are so many new movies utterly gash. The script was so dumbed down"

Turned Jackpot! off after 30 minutes. Truly dire. I also gave up on Bikeriders. Found it way too slow.

"I watched Soldo's reco', The Bikeriders, a bit slow at first but thought it was good and liked how it was done with the girl Kathy (Comer) narrating about that time in the present day. Comer is a sort btw."

"Lee - It is good, I couldn't remember much of it since I originally watched it. I might look up the original. I think Crowe was at his best around this time. Charlie was a cսnt, killed folk like he was having a coffee."

3.10 to Yuma is a great film. I haven't seen the original yet. I've gone through a load of Westerns recently as I found a Western movie channel on my moody TV package. You forget how good some of the classics were.

"Cough - It's pretty simple really, if you enjoyed the first three then you will enjoy the fourth one. It's alright and an easy watch, plus the old soundtrack. Re-watched 3.10 to Yuma and The Score, still both decent."

I watched Wicked Little Letters. Very funny in parts and some great acting performances. Warning - it contains scenes of non-white actors portraying white characters. If you find this upsetting then probably best to give it a miss.

"Anybody see Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F? It looks fucking shit, I mean the first three which were quite funny but why messing about with these oldie film franchises just to make an extra buck? File under Top Gun Maverick and The Irishman?"
