NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Scorch, with this defence we shouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs. there were plenty of good DTs in the last draft and he passed for an injury prone receiver"

I was thinking what would be the reaction if the pack and the lions just kneel out the entire game in order to both make it through. Of course they probably won't if the division title is on the line and they will both want a home playoff game. It would probably be worth it just for your furious reaction though Miike :)

"Only a little tk, as coverage back then wasn't great. And he had Montana and that offense, not the clowns. Think until gore, our qb's were so good for a huge amount of years that the running game wasn't needed desperately. That poor bastard was the entire offense for about 7 straight years."

"TM - don't get me wrong, Payton was superb. I just think Sanders took his prototype and, literally, ran off with it! Into the sunset, usually at 1000mph with a couple of safeties hanging off his legs."

"Payton wasn't agile? he pioneered some of the hurdling, jumping over defenders near the line. of course people have different opinions, toughest will always be Jim Brown but then you look at his size, like Riggins, they had a right for defenders to bounce off them. Walter was average size yet was as strong as I've seen"

"Both good calls, TM. But I have to go with Barry Sanders. That guy was from another planet altogether. A one-man team. Reactions, agility and changes of direction that we have never seen before or since. Shame the Lions were total shite in every other department!"
