NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
I know the Steelers Brown gets a lot of press as the top receiver but I think Jones is better

I was really into it late 80's early 90's..... if you told me then that the pats' would be doing what they have done over the past few years I would have got you carted you off to barley lane.... blimey even remember the Browns were not that bad.... Bernie Kosar and the dawg pound...??

Re: 2016 NFL Season
The Falcons pose a lot of questions- Pats have to be careful not to over commit to the run or Sanu and Jones will have a field day. Conversely if they want to try and stop the passing game it's going to open up holes for the backs. But if anyone can come up with a scheme to stop them it's Belichick.

Re: 2016 NFL Season
Patriots need to savk off running the ball had no running game for a while! Blount is good on the goal line but averages about 3 yards a carry just puts you in 3rd and long

Re: 2016 NFL Season
He's definitely not shit just had more faith in the pats run defence the line seems to be holding their own but the linebackers and corners are getting mauled on those outside runs

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"The sport is built toward equality through the draft and the salary cap- which is fantastic. At some point every team should be a contender- apart from the Browns or the Lions. The opposite of football where it's all about the big teams maintaining the balance of power. Of course it's much easier in a closed system like the NFL, but still it's much better."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
One thing I love about the NFL is the draft system.... you can have a stinker of a year but during the draft you get a chance of getting a superstar before anyone else.... you've always got a dream that come true following a NFL team no matter how shit they are

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"Mike, the match commentators sound like septics to me. I think they're talking English, but I still don't know WTF they're talking about. I'm my own worst enemy. Every year I tune in determined to try and understand this game. I've usually thrown in the towel under the hour. Fucking daft game seems to be designed for ad-breaks."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
Takashi Miike 1:22 They usually take the international feed because it caters more for people who are first time/casual viewers. i find it annoying too. In the past they've offered the US broadcast commentary as well (Fox this year?) as a red button alternative but not this year I guess.
