NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Snyder, by all account, is a total shitbag of a human being and the team reflects this. I have no ill-will towards the redskins. they don't deserve the garbage that man serves up."

"Funny (ish) story about Dan Snyder. I used to work for a fairly small UK company that the Snyders bought back in the 90s. Not really knowing what they had bought, Dan and his sister Michelle came over from the US to check us out. They said they wanted a working lunch as part of their brief visit, so someone was sent out from the office to buy some finger food for lunch. The person responsible (not me), came back with a decent selection of M&S food including ham sandwiches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, pork pies etc which the Jewish Snyders were not too impressed with. Not sure if that sealed the deal but we never saw them again, and a little while later they sold us. That might be the secret for the Redskins, prepare a large pork-based buffet for him every time he comes in?"

"oh dear, Allen's just Vinny Cerrato in a more expensive suit, an absolute fucking clown. remember back to how they behaved during the last months of Shanahan'sps time as coach. continually undermined a great coach with their agenda driven shit. its been a car crash since that little shit bought the franchise, I'm just waiting now for the Cousins trade and numerous hasbeens signed on mega deals"

"McCloughan couldn't lay off the sauce, or that's how Bruce Allen and Synder are spinning it. But any Redskin fan will have no faith in anything Synder says, so we'll probably never know the truth. Garcon and Jackson going puts a lot pressure on Doctson shoulders but they do really seem to like him - I hope it is the 2nd coming of Art Monk"

"Not sure why that posted again Peterson was released, one of many franchise legends who were released along with revis and jamal charles. Patriots made some very good moves already, signing a good number 2 tight end to replace bennett, signing a legit number 1 cornerback to pair with butler gives them on paper the 2nd best cornerback duo in the league. Resigning a couple of important pieces on defence aswell, if they can get the hightower deal done i'll be over the moon!! Sounds like the browns are now trying to trade osweiler for a low round pick, they essentially bought the texans 2nd round oick, im reading that theyre stocking up on picks to try and make a big push to trade for garappolo, giving the patriots atleast a first and 2nd rounder"

very strange grumps what they're doing. the one thing that worked last season was the offence but garcon & jackson are gone. crowder's superb but its a lot of pressure on a player still learning. at least big Vern got a new three year deal

"the skins get more dysfunctional by the day not only have we fucked about with cousins, we've let our two best receivers walk and our general manager is AWOL, not turning up for the draft combine and still away from the club as free agency starts. rumours are he won't be coming back, absolute fucking shambles. the day that cսnt Snyder bought the franchise was the day it died. he is a disgrace"

The Barry Sanders docu on Sky recently was a good watch. He played in the same OSU team as Thurman Thomas (who was a year older I think). Sanders was the back up in the beginning. Imagine that RB line up against you.

"Sanders was so ridiculously elusive it's untrue. So many of his runs look like he's down for a loss, but then he changes direction and outruns everyone to make a huge gain. Sanders created so many of his yards for himself without good or any blocking- IIRC the rest of his team was so piss poor that the defence was expecting a run half the time as well. Dread to think what damage he'd have done behind the Dallas line of the Smith Era."

"Far Cough 5:06 Tue Feb 7 Sanders also retired in his prime basically stating that the only thing left he wanted to do was win a super bowl. he did not feel the lions owners would invest properly to accomplish it and knew they wouldn't trade him, so he retired."
