NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"apart from paul richardson, the skins have five very young receivers so fair play to keenum connecting this early. not the first time jackson has done that"

"He came back on shortly after, Picking lamar jackson in our draft looks like an inspired decision if he can actually pass the ball now! But he is playing the dolphins so take his 4 td passes with a pinch of salt They might be the worst team of all time if they keep this up"

Lamar Jackson has some arm on him. Looks like no effort at all throwing it 50-60 yards in the air.

I'm watching the Eagles getting smeared by the Redskins. Smashed by Case Keenum.

I assumed with the Fantasy league that it was a straightforward accumulation of points over the season and yet I'm matched up against Brady's love child. How's that work then? Do I accumulate points based on whether I beat the person in the match up instead?

"I don't buy the deep conspiracy theory stuff. I do think referees and officials in sports make bad calls that disproportionately favour big teams. The PL is rife with it. I think that's human nature though, self preservation. Make a bad call against Man U and you're analysed to death in th media. Make one against Watford and it hardly gets a mention. Probably the same in the NFL. At the end of the day the Patriots are dominant because they have the best coach of all time who runs the most professional organisation and examines every little detail to gain an advantage. Add to that a QB who takes way below par wages in an attempt to create cap space in a salary controlled league, and you have the winning formula."

"Cowboys Patriots Steelers Packers A few teams who sometimes seem to be in the middle of situations either in games or outside of games that can turn out somewhat 'favourable' and 'interesting' in their favour. Wouldn't have anything to do with how well followed they are both in the US and globally, and how their general continued success is financially good for the sport would it? Then again you can lay that observation on most sports. Baseball and the Red Sox and Yankees, Premier league and certain teams, India and Australia in cricket, Ferrari in F1, particularly in the Schumacher years..."

Miike. I with you regarding the overall game. But Goodell is only as powerful as the owners let him. I think he would love nothing more than hammering certain teams who basically bend the rules to breaking point. (Looks over towards Foxborough.) But like the Premiership cash rules. And while it's raking it in very little will change.

"the more I think about the speed of this deal, the more I think I was spot about it being engineered and corrupt as fuck. as years progress, I lose more and more interest in a league that's rigged as fuck. don't think so, just watch some officiating of games of how goodell deals with certain teams in regard to bans"

"I mean brown has always been known as the hardest working receiver in the nfl, thats how e went from a late round pick to arguably the 3rd best receiver in history. Issue with alot of receivers coming into the patriots is that the playbook is so complex and full of ""option"" routes, i have no doubt he can work hard enough to pick up the system its just if he has the attitude for it, the ""patriot way"" is a million miles away from what he's used to, if he can accept being a cog in the larger machine then it could ve great. I just cant see it happening, i see him saying something in a press conference he's not supposed to and Bill coming down on him and the whole thing blowing up"

I stick my neck out now and say he end up Super Bowl MVP. He's that type of character who enjoys giving the bird to everyone. He has now got the fuel to light his fire.
