"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"They've already signed a sort of journeyman tackle, bit of a weird name who apparently had 10 invites to come and meet teams but said he wanted to play for Dante Scarnecchia. Seen lots of rumours of Trent Williams fromt he Redskins but i dont think they have the Caprrom for that and it doesnt make much sense when the 1st round pick from last year will be back halfway through the season. The pats' first 8 games are very soft so i would think between McDaniels, Belichick, Scarnecchia and Brady they can piece it together and focus on quick passes and maybe run the ball more."

"crystal, we have the perfect player for you who's currently refusing to play for us. I'm sure you could backdate his money for next year but it depends on what picks you offer, and the alleged deal you offered weeks ago, last pick in round one, isn't close to a deal for a constant pro bowl tackle"

"Yep, saw the o-line problems that the Patsies are having. Losing your starting left tackle is never an easy thing. He's the blind-side for Brady. Could see Belichick dipping back into the free agency or trade market - but not sure how much wriggle room there is after the Brown deal..?"

"Id imagine they'll be even more ruthless against the hated jets than his ex coach who runs the dolphins. I'm just intrigued to see how dominant the defence will be again, obviously against poor competition again in a 3rd string QB. but so far this season the Pats defence has scored 14 while only allowing 3 through 2 games. If anything is going to derail the Pats this season it will be the Oline, lost the starting right tackle for a month in the first game and now the starting left tackle has been placed on IR so is out for at least 8 weeks. 3 backup starters on the Oline now, after the Centre is out for the season with blood clots in his lungs (urgh) luckily they have Dante Scarnecchia who is not only the best Oline coach of all time but one of the best coaches fulls top."

Betfair exchange are giving the Jrts a 23 point head start on Sunday. I think the Pat's will absolutely smash that going on what I saw the other day.

"Crystal - could be another cricket score, which will horrify me? Our third-string QB is terrible, so they'll give the ball to Bell -a lot. Problem is, the Patsies will know it and have an excellent defense anyway. It could get ugly. 0-3 for the Jets on Sunday will have Woody thinking about tanking for another high-pick & trades. With the Fins already in the same position, the AFC East could become the least ""bothered"" division in history. I hope the Jets don't tank - I never really see the point, but our owners will live the idea of the space it affords them. It will all depend on when Darnold is back."

I have Dak prescott who i think might be the 3rd highest scoring QB so far and he's been on my bench both weeks and he'll be on my bench again this week. So if anyone who is in need of a QB wants to make me an offer i can't refuse :)

"Yeah, my score was still pretty low so I can't have any complaints. The gimmes like the defence and the QB are poor for me so I'll struggle."

"I got over 100 points this week, just happened to be matched up against someone who put up nearly 120 points! it does make it more interesting this system of week to week matchups but it does seem to add a much higher element of luck into it."

"Considering they were getting the ball near the halfway line for nearly every drive, the Browns should have loaded up with a lot more points than they did. That Beckham catch was one of the best you'll ever see though. Absolutely remarkable in that sort of coverage and that position. Can't stand him but what a player. As for the fantasy league, I lost by .34 which is a bit of a gut job."

"Contrasting reports on how long it will take Darnold to recover from mono. Some saying he'll be out for another 2 to 6 weeks, others saying he could be back in week 4. If it's six weeks, then the Jets might as well put this season down as a major write-off and go on holiday. They ain't going to win games if Darnold is not under centre. The #3 QB is utter tripe I've completely lost interest in the season already."

"You couldn't make it up - two games for the Jets, two quarterbacks out injured (one for the entire season) and two defeats. Welcome to the brave new world of Adam Gase! In fairness to the new head coach, he's been cursed with bad luck on the injury front. Already using QB3 by the sixth quarter of play this season. Siemian (QB2) now out for the season. Hopefully Darnold won't have glandular fever for too long. But this is already looking like a fucking write off of a season in New York - and we haven't even played the Patsies yet. Joke team. Still love 'em."

"Dont like these trophies they keep giving out in the fantasy league, 2 weeks in a row its given me wooden spoon award for leaving Dak prescott on my bench as he was the highest scoring player on anyone's bench. Fails to mention that i started lamar jackson who outscored him in both weeks."

Eagles were very unlucky last night. Terrible injuries to the best receivers and they still should have won if Agholor hadn't inexplicably dropped a ball when clear.

"Brees and Big Ben both going off injured yesterday, could really blow a few division races wide open, although i'd fully expect Ben to be back next week, he really does love milking an injury for attention."

Mahomes also appears to have entire field in front of him in his head instantly. That along with his ludicrous arm is a pretty hard act to beat backed with a decent O-line.
