"Going into the fourth quarter, the purposefully-tanking Fish lead trying-his-hardest-to-save-his-job Adam Gase's Jets 24-15. Gase is already in my top three worst coaches in NFL history. And is quickly flying past Rich Kotite into the #1 slot. He is genuinely trying to win games in order to save what remains of his awful head coaching ""career"" and yet he is losing to a team which is genuinely trying to lose as many games as possible this season so that they get the #1 draft pick. How utterly shit must you be as a coach to be in that position? Think of all of the worst bits of Glen Roeder and Avram Grant, mix them together, shake them about a bit so that he goes frog-eyed, pour them into a vat of stinking oil, piss, bile and cabbage, and let them slip out into a burning skip in Lidl car park. And then you've got Adam Gase."

"Actually pretty apprehensive about the Ravens game this week, they always seem to play the Pats tough and Harbaugh seems to be one of the few coaches who doesnt piss down his leg the minute he makes eye contact with Belichick. Pats havent stopped the run well this year and the Ravens are the number 1 rushing attack in the league, Pats play alot of man coverage which means running down field with their backs to the QB which is where Jackson is liable to take off running. That being said im sure BB is relishing the opportunity to face such a unique threat and will have something special lined up to keep him in the pocket and force him to beat them with his arm which is why i cant bring myself to start Jackson in my fantasy team this week."

"Now that the fallout of the Jets' absolute meltdown ahead of trade deadline day is in full swing, the good thing is that we're learning a lot more about how Gase got the job despite his terrible record, and sacking, in Miami. Apparently, Peyton Manning called the Jets' co-owner, Chris Johnson, and encouraged Johnson to appoint Gase. That seems to be the main reason why Gase got the job. Not scouting the man, not deeply researching his teams and video type to study his playbook and his capacity as a coach. Not multiple references from multiple sources, including other coaches. A quick phone call from Peyton Manning. And Gase got the job. Above an experinced Super Bowl winning coach, and long-time winning record holder, Mike McCarthy. Peyton Manning, by how own admission, ran his own offence in Denver when he worked with Gase. There are multiple interviews online where Manning talks openly about how he got a lot of leeway under Gase, as offensive co-ordinator, to make the final decision on where the ball goes. And I don't blame Denver or Gase for that: Manning was a superb quarterback (one of the best in history) and knew how to run his own game. Gase did very little. Manning obviously liked that. But that does not mean Gase is a good coach. It just means Denver had a brilliant, albeit ageing, quaterback. Who took them to, and won, the Super Bowl. So why didn't Johnson and others (including the former GM) see that and know that? Why take a short phone call from Manning, a mate of Gase because Gase let him do his own thing in Denver, and then throw all of your planning for a new head coach out of the window? Just knowing Manning is not a reference for a head coaching job. Nuts. That's the kind of franchise the Jets are under Johnson & Johnson. Flimsy and whimsical. And now we're 1-6 and staring down the barrel of a gun. Again."
